SSM College of Engineering and Technology Baramulla Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

SSM College of Engineering has a campus size of around 11 acres with 11 main blocks. The college has 8 academic blocks, 1 administrative block, and 2 hostel blocks. Out of 2 hostel blocks, only 1 block is functional. The college is located at Diver Parihaspora, Pattan, Baramulla. Each academic block is equipped with classrooms, labs, and an office, and each classroom has a seating capacity of 60 students. Classrooms are equipped with fans, blackboards, and white marker boards. The college has a library attached to the administrative block where students can borrow books (2-3 books per student). The campus is also equipped with a seminar hall and an open-air auditorium with a seating capacity of around 700-900 students. The college also offers facilities like a canteen, sports, and transport. Transport facilities are available at different routes, including for faraway places.

My overall campus experience was good. I spent only 2 years on campus out of 4 years of my course study because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the initial days of my college life, the campus was fully crowded. There was a committee known as DSW that organized different events at the college, including Picnics, Graduation Day, Sports Activities, etc. They used to organize Cricket, Football, and Badminton matches among students from different departments of the campus. Various annual fests were celebrated at SSM College of Engineering, including Science Day, Engineers Day, Independence Day, and other cultural programs.Read Full Review
