ISB&M Kolkata Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The International School of Business & Media Kolkata hostels are present inside its campus and are available separately for both male & female students. Here, for ensuring pleasant stay for the students, 3-seater AC rooms at the residences are equipped with beds, chairs, storage spaces, and tables.

Outstation students who want to avail accommodation amenities provided by the Institute should complete the application procedure and deposit stipulated fees.

The ISB&M Kolkata hostel fees is Rs. 1,40,000/- for each academic year and it covers lodging, boarding, food, and other miscellaneous charges.

Note: Apart from that, an additional Rs. 20,000/- as hostel caution deposit is charged by the Institute which will be refunded during the time of convocation.

There are a multitude of hostel rules & regulations which have been constituted in order to foster a safe, disciplined, and respectful environment so that students can focus on their studies. Violation of these rules will make residents liable to face disciplinary actions like penalty, suspension, expulsion, confiscation, etc.

• All the residents should occupy allocated rooms. Also, changing the current without approval of respective authorities is not allowed.
• Ragging is a criminal offence. Therefore, it is prohibited at the Institute’s on campus hostels.
• Acts like smoking, drinking alcohol, begging, fighting, stealing, and begging are restricted at the residential complexes.
• Hostellers shall not leave their respective hostels for an outing or an overnight stay without informing and permission from their wardens.
• Students need to take prior permission from their wardens in case they want to keep electrical appliances like induction, e-kettle, heaters, and so on (except for iron) in their rooms.
• In and out hostel timings should be followed by each and every resident.
• At the on-campus accommodations of the Institute, students should refrain from keeping lethal weapons such as firearms, rods, chains, knives, etc.
• Scribbling and pasting pictures on the hostel walls and rooms is not allowed.

On-campus hostels are available for the students who are leaving their respective homes to continue their further studies from the Institute. In order to enable a secured and home-like living environment for the residents, surveillance cameras are installed throughout the hostel arena.

The ISB&M Kolkata hostel rooms have attached washrooms and air conditioners & are allotted to the students on triple occupancy basis. Besides that, rooms have necessary facilities & fixtures such as beds, chairs, storage spaces, and tables. Also, each room has an iron.
