The university campus is large and is decent and it is full of greenery. The play grounds are also huge. The fact that the college authorities take anti ragging very seriously. If someone is found in the act of ragging, then he/she is punished immediately without mercy. The faculties are helpful and knowledgeable. The institute organises events that are open to all, anyone who wants to showcase their talents are always free to do so in the various events that are organised by the clubs and other universities. So, overall it’s definitely a great university as teachers really care about what their students are gaining from them and that is the best part of the whole University.Read Full Review

One thing that TNU has done well is they have hired the best people to advertise and market the University. Everyone in Kolkata and nearby places knows about this University, even though it is not in Kolkata. So students who have big dreams don't get fooled by TNU's lucrative posters because I was among the initial passed-out batch of the University and trust me, all my expectations were shortened at TNU. Once you come to the College it means you can't move and you are confined to TNU campus because there are hardly any amenities or good shops around the campus. Even the campus doesn't have many. The seniors here looked like juniors as down students; and though ragging has their strict actions, no one can dare to speak even if they are ragged. Any uncanny incident or anything like that has happened and security is still good. The infrastructure is a little weird, and the crowd is indeed the most pathetic one.Read Full Review

Kolkata has many Colleges like NSHM Knowledge Campus, IME, and Techno India University, among others. All these Colleges have a strict criterion even though they are private, but TNU gave admissions to students who even had a percentage less than 50%. I was among the ones who scored 80% consistently but still joined this University as I used to stay in Tollygunj and TNU was at least close to where I lived. The University is away from the main city as it is on the road that goes to Diamond Harbor and therefore one can see beautiful landscapes while traveling here. In a true sense the University lacked strength because when all the Colleges and Universities were focusing on skill development, the University still was contained in teaching us the curriculum. Many students had their rebirth because schools in Kolkata are tough and therefore, they have to give away the things that they like. However, at TNU, such students were given presents in attendance as they were busy doing drama, dancing, or playing sports. So, for those who want to explore the other side of their talents, Neotia University will give them enough opportunities.Read Full Review
