State Council of Educational Research and Training: Admission 2024, Fees, New Delhi

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) was established in 1998 as an autonomous institute. It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program in affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). The course is recognised by NCTE.

SCERT offers a B.Ed program with the objective to provide flexible and different education that influences technology and inspires lifelong learning. SCERT’s vision is to grow as a premier educational institute of skill development, research, advanced technology, and resources in the teaching discipline. Its mission is to establish collaborations with reputed organisations, agencies, and institutes to enhance the quality of schools and education programs.

SCERT offers approximately 70% seats in B.Ed program to pre-service candidates and remaining 30% seats to in-service candidates.

Admission Procedure

Candidates applying under pre-service category have to follow the admission procedures as implemented by GGSIPU for B.Ed program. The admissions will be strictly considered on the basis of merit prepared through Common Entrance Test / Written Test conducted by the university or selected authorities.

Candidates coming under in-service category include Assistant Teachers of the school of Delhi Cantonment Board, New Delhi Municipal Council, and DoE of GNCT of Delhi. These candidates can apply for this particular program via different modes according to the eligibility criteria and regulations of their concerned departments.
