The location of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is in Saranga, Dhenkanal. It started operating in 1982. Government officials themselves oversee this technical institute. The 179 acres of the campus are fairly large. Engineering courses are offered in B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and PhD programmes. The institute has a long history. The professors are highly skilled. Transportation, healthcare, libraries, hostels, canteens, cafeterias, and banking are all available. Near this Institute is the Bramhani River.
