SBIHM provides training and placements to the students based on their skills and interests. To give students greater options, the institute maintains a highly well-organized placement cell. They provide on-campus placement for the final year students. Systematic interviews are being conducted where students get an opportunity to interact directly with the industry and other potential companies. This helps the students to get their ‘Dream Job.’ All the students who are interested in getting placement directly after graduation have to follow a few procedures which are as follows;

• Register themselves in the placement by submitting 6 copies of CV, with it they also have to submit all their certificates, recent photograph and training certificate.

The Institute provides an internship to the students and the duration of this internship is for 6 months, during this period of time students get to interact with experts from various fields which help them in increasing their knowledge. The major recruiters of the institute are JW Marriott, Atlantis Dubai, Crown, The Oberoi, Hilton, The Leela, Holiday Inn, Emirates, Hyatt Regency, Taj group, Radisson, Royal Orchid Hotels, ITC Hotels, Air India and various others visit the college for the purpose of placement.

Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management infrastructure is spread across 10.66 acres. The institute provides well equipped classrooms which are spacious and fully digitalised which all have good network connectivity along with a set of textbooks.

• Hostel: The hostel of the institute is separated according to the semester in which the student is in, which creates a friendly environment for them. There are two different hostels for girls and boys with modernised facilities to make it safe, secure and comfortable boarding with clean and hygienic food.
• Lab for Food Production: The institute has its own well equipped lab with latest technology for first year students who are concentrating on Indian Cuisines and Continental cuisines.
• Advanced food production lab: This lab is for third year students where they are trained to make International Cuisines.
• Transportation: The University provides two deluxe buses to its students for easy conveyance and relaxed journey. These buses facilitate them with a pickup and drop facility from hostel to the campus which helps in saving their time with affordable price. Bus facilities are also available for day scholar students as well.
• Faculty: The Institute provides highly qualified faculty which helps in bringing the best talent out of each student and provides support to them whenever it is required in studies and extra-curricular activities.
• Seminar rooms: There is a large auditorium with well equipped systems, LCD projectors, comfortable seats and slide projectors. Various seminars, functions of the department, cultural activities, guest lectures and several other events are organized in the room.
• Medical Laboratory:  The course of hospital management requires a lab where the students can learn the process of diagnosis,
• prevention of disease and treatment.
• Bakery and confectionery lab: This department trains the students in the art of yeast making products, chocolates, hot and cold pudding, flour confectionery products. This prepares them for the challenges that they might have to face in the industry when they get in there. It has two separate bakery labs for 1^st and 3^rd year students for smooth running of the practical.
• Food and Beverages lab: This lab focuses on training the students in various aspects of food and beverage service. This helps in clearing the basic fundamentals of the students in this sector, they are being taught how to handle and supervise the events in difficult situations in corporate sectors as well as in hotel industries. Along with serving, they also learn how to mix both domestic and foreign cocktails and mocktails.
• Computer Lab: The lab is equipped with the latest machinery and high internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and LAN which enables them to use the opportunity to upgrade and update themselves with the coming changes in the industry.  
• Cafeteria: The Institute provides the students with good and hygienic food in the cafeteria along with television for their refreshments.
• Common Room: to make a balance between the academic and personal life of the students where they can relax, a common room has been given to them where they can take part in various social activities and entertainment where they can know each other better and can make new friends.
