Choithram College of Nursing

Choithram College of Nursing is focused on improving the nursing skills and knowledge of the students in order to make them highly efficient. It organises different internships and training sessions for the students to provide them with a better image of the professional world. It offers placement opportunities to the students in a Multi Specialty Parent Hospital where they practically apply their skills and knowledge.

Choithram College of Nursing has a state-of-art infrastructure and uses various modern technologies creating a conducive environment for the students. The campus of CCON Raipur has lush green gardens that provide a pleasant and fresh atmosphere to the students. It has spacious classrooms that are equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, LCD and Smart Board. 24x7 security is also provided in the campus. The college also provides transportation facilities to the students and faculty members for their safe commute to and from the campus. In addition to this, several other facilities are also provided to the students by CCON, some of these are mentioned below:

• Hostels: The College provides hostel accommodation facilities to girl students. The hostel has well furnished rooms with a capacity of accommodating 5 students in each room. Several other facilities that are provided to the hostlers are Wi-Fi facility, television, indoor and outdoor games, and more. In addition to this, a waiting hall, recreation room and a mess that serves nutritious food to the students is also available in the hostel.
• Laboratories: Several laboratories are set up by the college for students where they can practically apply their knowledge and skill sets. These laboratories are well designed and are equipped with the latest technology for better practice. Some of these laboratories are Advanced Clinical Lab, Pre-Clinical Lab, Simulation Lab, Obstetrics and Gynecological Lab, and more.
• Library: CCON has a spacious library that provides a peaceful learning environment to the students. The library has a collection of approx 3,000 books related to different topics for catering to the academic requirements of the students. In addition to this, it also has a subscription to 20 national and 10 international journals. The library also has a reading room with proper seating arrangements for the students and faculty members.
• Medical Facilities: CCON has a parent hospital named Choithram Hospital which offers 24x7 medical facilities to the students and faculty members. First Aid boxes are also available at several places in the campus for the safety of the students. Ambulance service is also provided by the college for emergency purposes.
• Canteen: Choithram College of Nursing has a canteen that offers fresh and nutritious snacks, meals and drinks to the students and faculty members at a reasonable rate. It has a hygienic ambience with a seating capacity of 100 people at a time.
• Auditorium: The college has a fully air conditioned auditorium with a capacity of accommodating approx 700 people at a time. It is equipped with an LCD projector, music system, and multimedia facilities. It is majorly used for conducting different events like induction programs, annual meets, lamp lighting events, conferences, and more.
• Conference Hall: CCON has a conference hall that is equipped with an LCD projector. This hall is used for organising faculty meets, board meetings, conferences, virtual workshops, and other events.
• Computer Lab: The College has a computer lab that has multimedia facilities and 24x7 internet connection. It helps the students in completing their assignments and projects effectively.
• Sports: Choithram College of Nursing provides various sports facilities to the students. Some of the majorly played games in the college are Chess, Carom, Tambola, Badminton, Tennis, BasketBall, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and more.
