Lajpat Rai College, Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh was established in the year 1967 to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Humanities, Science and Commerce. Lajpat Rai College is approved by the reputed UGC, accredited by NAAC-B, and is affiliated with CCS University, Meerut.

The college runs its courses under the affiliation of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU), is approved by UGC under section 2(f) and accredited with grade ‘B’ by NAAC.

The college offers various UG / PG courses in various streams of Arts, Science and Commerce such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, etc. The college also offers Doctorate courses in Arts and Science streams.
The college conducts admissions through the common admission process under the CCSU. The eligibility criteria for the admissions in the undergraduate courses include clearance of higher secondary with minimum 33% in related subjects varying for different courses whereas students require a collective score of 45% (with mandatory 50% in graduation) for the postgraduate programs.
