The Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS Madanapalle), Chittoor has a state-of-the-art campus wherein East, South, West, KK, and other academic blocks have been constructed. Additionally, all the blocks are equipped with technically advanced amenities to enrich students’ educational journey.
The lush green campus of the MITS Madanapalle covers the land of around 26.17 acres. Moreover, educational & recreational facilities available at the MITS Madanapalle campus are central library, computer centres & labs, dispensary, transportation, and the list continues with several others.
To create a safe learning space for the students, around 220 CCTV cameras have been installed across the premises. Along with this, a security officer and other staff members are present at the security control office round-the-clock to monitor security of the MITS Madanapalle campus.
Additionally, the campus of the Deemed to be University is Wi-Fi enabled providing 2 Gbps internet connectivity to the students. Additionally, there are around 6 internet access points. Along with this, ample classrooms & tutorial rooms available at the academic buildings have sufficient seats, podium, projectors, black / white boards & other such facilities to create conducive learning atmosphere for the students.
Moreover, a huge auditorium present at the premises has a carpet area of upto 709.3 square metres with 700-student capacity. The University also has several air-conditioned seminar halls such as Seminar Hall A’, ‘Seminar Hall B’, etc. Each of these halls have seating capacity of around 150 students. In addition, a boardroom, 2 multipurpose halls & other such spaces are constructed at the campus for hosting multiple events, fests, and other campus activities.
Other facilities present at the campus include a stationary store, drawing halls, common rooms (separate for each gender), yoga centre, workshops, etc. Apart from this, platform bridges, elevators, ramps & other such amenities available at the premises create a barrier free learning environment for the disabled students.

- Library: Spread over a land of around 1,626 square metres, a 2-storied central library of the Institution is fully automated using SOUL 2.0 Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS). Additionally, at the library, around 2545 book volumes, 10,150+ titles, 1,495+ back volumes, 3380+ CDs and DVDs, 110+ journals, and other academic resources are available for the students. More than 350 students can sit & study comfortably at the central library.
Central library also has a reading room and upto 31 computers & 84 Mbps internet connectivity so that students can navigate online resources. Also, students can access the resources of the library from remote locations via KNIMBUS. Other library services include reprographic, reference, document delivery service, circulation, etc. The Institution also has departmental libraries.
There is also a digital library named ‘Galileo Integrated Digital Learning Centre’ (GDLC), where nearly 117 different types of devices are present through which students can efficiently access 28,000+ e-books, animations, videos, presentations, and many others.
- Laboratories: The campus houses upto 3 computer centres (with 150 square metres carpet area) and 3 computer labs which have carpet area of around 75 square metres. In these centres & labs, numerous updated systems are available so that students can search web information related to their course and learn technical skills.
Additionally, the University has a wide range of fully-furnished laboratories where they can perform different experiments & enhance their practical knowledge. Departments like Engineering, Management, Computer Science, etc. have Physics Labs, Chemistry Labs, Data Science Lab, and many other labs.
- Sports: At the MITS Madanapalle campus, advanced spaces are developed over an area of about 22,825 square metres. Additionally, a ‘Physical Education Department Room’ at the campus has adequate equipment, kits, and other gears for all the indoor & outdoor sports. There is a Cricket Field, Throw Ball Court, Football Field, Handball Court, Tennikoit Court, 2 Badminton and Volleyball Courts (each), etc. so that students can play different sports.
Students can also spend their free time by playing Indoor sports as the MITS Madanapalle campus houses boards & other facilities for Table Tennis, Carom (2), Chess (5), and so on. Moreover, a wide range of sports activities like tournaments, championships, etc. for the entertainment & overall development of the students.
- Hostel: The University offers accommodation amenities to both outstation male & female students. Furthermore, at the MITS Madanapalle hostels, students are provided with modern facilities & secured atmosphere that creates a homely & lively atmosphere.
- Canteens: Canteens like ‘Chutneys Café’ & ‘Food Sutra’ are present within the MITS Madanapalle campus where students are served Indian and Continental cuisine meals at subsidised costs.
- Transportation: The Institution has around 35 buses along with 20 cars which run through Madanapalle, Punganur, Pileru, B-Kothakota, and other routes of the city. These transportation vehicles ensure that day scholars are able to commute back & forth from the campus on time.
- Medical Facilities: Inside the premises of the Deemed University, a ‘Dispensary’ is present which has several beds, medications, in-house medical professionals & other facilities where students’ minor ailments are cured. Also, the Institution has made adequate arrangements so that students can be commuted to nearby nursing homes & hospitals so that they can receive quality medical care.
- Gymnasium: The University houses a ‘Gym & Fitness Centre’ where fitness equipment and machines such as treadmill, leg extension, dumbbells, bench press, etc. have been facilitated so that students can work over their fitness regimen & stay healthy.
- Banking: An ATM of HDFC Bank is present on-campus to help students in withdrawing cash. The University also has a ‘Post Office’.
