Indore Institute of Law [IIL], Indore Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 2003 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Law. IIL is approved by the reputed BCI, accredited by NAAC, and is affiliated with DAVV, Indore. Management of IIL Indore is working under Mr. Akshay Kanti Bam (Chairman).

Established in 2003 under the aegis of the ICON Education Society is the Indore Institute of Law. It has been affiliated with DAAV, Indore, accredited by NAAC, and recognised by the BCI. The institute runs with an aim to incorporate growth & innovation in legal education and provide students with an understanding of law in practice and law in the letter.
The programs at the institute are prepared to build professionally skilled lawyers. The programs offered are:

The Legal Aid Cell present on the campus is called “Nyaya Sarthi” which fights cases and provides legal advice free of cost to the poor and weaker sections of society. Along with this, the college also has a Grievance Redressal Mechanism which follows Zero Tolerance Policy for issues like Harassment and Ragging.
Multiple Competency Development Programs are held at the institute such as Client Counseling Competitions, Trial Advocacy, Parliamentary Debate Competitions, Model United Nations, Moot Court Competition, Judgment Writing, etc. for giving a practical experience to the students. The “Lex Bonanza” is an Annual Law Fest organised by IIL which displays many legal battles between budding advocates.

The application form has to be submitted to receive admission into IIL. The steps to get access to the application form are as follows:

Click “Admission Form” and then complete filling in the details.
Along with filling in the form, the candidate is expected to upload all the asked documents and then submit the form.
Eligibility: For students applying to different courses, the institute has come up with distinct eligibility criteria, such as:

B.B.A. LL.B. Hons. – 5 years
10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
70% of seats are filled based on IILET
20% of seats are filled based on the scores of CLAT/LSAT
10% of seats are filled based on 12th-grade merit
B.A. LL.B. Hons. – 5 years
B.B.A. LL.B. Hons. (Global & Transnational Studies) – 5 years
LL.B. Hons. – 3 years
10+2 grade and Graduation with at least 45% for general and 40% marks for SC/ ST Category.
LL.M. Hons. – 2 years
A 3/5–year Degree in Law and scored at least 55% for general and 50% for SC/ ST Category.
*Note: Students looking for admission in law with global transnational studies will receive admission only based on the Indore Institute of Law Entrance Test (IILET) scores.

The Career Development Cell at the institute trains the students in fulfilling the professional requirements of the legal profession. The Recruitment Co-Ordination Committee follows a complete recruitment process which includes the introduction with the recruiter, followed by pre-placement conversations, interview stage 1, the final interview, and then the final disclosure of the offers made to the students.
The cell has associations with Law Firms, Individual Advocates, Government Organisations, Corporate and PU, and multiple Research Organisations for providing the students with many internship and placement opportunities.

Indore Institute of Law Infrastructure and Facilities
Various facilities are offered by the institute to provide the students with a safe, secure, and academic environment, such as:
Hostel: Accommodation facility for 277 girls and 133 boys is available at the separate hostels for female and male students provided by the institute respectively. There are AC and Non-AC rooms with the capacity of double and triple sharing for all the students. The facility of Guest Rooms is also present inside the hostels.
Moot Court: To train the students about the research ideology, courtroom customs, and characteristics of advocacy, an air-conditioned Moot Court has been designed. It comprises modern facilities and full technical support.
Classrooms: The classrooms made for the students are inspired by the legal theme. They are spacious and the walls contain boards full of the necessary legal information.
Library: With 13,380+ volumes of directories, special reports, research papers, academic resources, etc., the Reading Hall cum Library is provided to the students. It has a capacity of approx 100 students at a time.
Auditorium: An air-conditioned auditorium with the latest audio-visual technology is present in the campus. It has a capacity for accommodating approx 250 students at a time. Various seminars, workshops, presentations, conferences, and cultural events are organised in the auditorium.
Student Society: Made by the students for the welfare of fellow students, there are various student bodies like the Election Commission, Online & Media, Alumni Society, Literary, Placement Cell, Student’s Council, Moot Court, Disciplinary, Sports, and Legal Aid Society present in the institute.
