A Training and Placement Cell is available at the college which prepares students for campus interviews. Mehr Chand Polytechnic College is developed on an area of 10.63 acres and surrounded by greenery which provides a peaceful environment to students. Round the clock security services are provided for ensuring safety of students. Furnished and ventilated lecture halls at the college are equipped with modern teaching aids. Air-conditioned conference hall is equipped with audio-visual facility for hosting several events and conferences. The College also houses following amenities:
