Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology Serampore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The GCETTS Serampore campus is really big and there are many buildings. There is a well stocked library. For CSE and IT departments, there are well equipped Computer labs. Chemistry lab’s condition is not that good and there are no equipment. Physics lab is quite old and should be renovated. There is a lecture room, where the 1st year classes are held. There are two language laboratories one old and one new.

Mt college life is really awesome. The College crowd is good; the seniors are very helpful except for the fresher’s day, where they take intro but in a friendly way. There is dancing, singing, coding, drama, etc. clubs. I am part of the coding club ‘Entropy’, which was made this year only. There are engagement activities like seminar, tech quiz, debate competition, etc. College fest is celebrated for 4 days. 1st day is reunion, 2nd day is for games, 3rd day is a fresher’s event, and 4th day is for farewell party. Our college has four academic blocks for 4 different branches, which are Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Textile Technology, and Apparel production Management. Our college’s infrastructure is not up to the mark; actually. I think our college needs to pay attention to the infrastructure. However, the college provides sports facilities for several games like cricket, football, chess, and several others.

Honestly, I am enjoying my college life here. GCETTS Serampore has average 500 students, so not much crowd here. Clubs for several games such as Cricket, badminton, and football are here. Fests are conducted every year in the month of January. We can also take part in many extracurricular activities, happening in the college. The college campus is not that big. The buildings are old. The classrooms are good enough for students. There is education friendly atmosphere in the classroom. This college has a good library with a good number of books. There is also a seminar hall and most importantly, we have laboratories. This college has a big seminar hall and conference hall. The college has a canteen. There are sports facilities in my college but the ground was not big enough. We play cricket, football, and different sports there.

My campus life is nice. The infrastructure is old but one can enjoy the life. This college has good number of students. There is different clubs like coding club, drama, music, etc. Every year the students arrange a cultural fest named ‘Texavision’. Everyone participated is this event and we enjoys a lot in this event. Every year, we have college sports in which the teachers and the students participates. I enjoy campus life very much.
