GRD Institute of Management was created in 1989 by the Guru Ram Das Educational Trust, New Delhi. The institute was created in the memory of Shri Guru Ram Das Ji; he is the fourth guru of Sikhs. It is a private educational institute and was established in the year 2004. This institute works to provide higher education in the field of engineering, Science and management.
The institute is affiliated with AICTE and PCI. It works on the personal development of the students, to groom them as a person and to make them future leaders. GRD Institute of Management and Technology admission procedure is very simple, the first thing which the student has to do is to register online on its website and then fill the application form, next the student has to pay the application and registration fees when they fill the registration form and then submit it.
All the fees charged during application and registration is non-refundable. The application fees is 1000 rupees, registration fees is 7500 rupees and Uniform and ID card fees is 7500 rupees.

Summer Internships: The institute also provides summer internship programmes and training to make them aware about the working culture in an organization and to prepare them for work life when they complete their graduation. The summer internship is conducted after the completion of first year in summer and the second internship is conducted in winters which are known as winter internship. This creates a sense of security in the minds of students as most of the students after these internships get a job even before graduation.

Hostels: GRD Institute has a wide infrastructure which contains two separate boys’ and girls’ hostels. The rooms in both the hostels have a good ventilation area, clean drinking water coolers and a mess on the campus which facilitates them to have easy access to the essential requirements of their every-day life. There are generators installed in the university for 24/7 availability of water and electricity. The institute is also concerned about the health of the students and for that they provide quality health care service with total privacy in the centre. It also provides nutritious food to the students at different intervals of time through GRD canteen and mess to boost their energy and to ensure that the quality of food is good and a quality check is conducted before the food is served to the students.
