HITM Ambala has a Training and Placement Cell which is responsible for the management of placement and recruitment of the students. The institute organises pre-placement talks, group discussions, interviews, industrial visits, etc. which help in providing industry related training to the students. Internships and other activities help students to gain a practical understanding of their classroom learning.

The placement cell enhances various qualities among students. Students become capable of doing self assessments, researches, and qualifying interviews by various organisations.

Hindustan Institute of Technology Ambala has a campus equipped with modern facilities. There are adequate facilities for academic and other purposes. The institute’s campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled, and almost all the facilities are backed by high speed internet connectivity, which is used by the students for enhancement of their knowledge. Whole campus is fully secured as well trained security personnel are appointed for 24/7 security maintenance.

• Library: The library situated at the institute’s campus provides the latest collection of relevant academic books, research journals, newspapers, magazines, project reports, previous exams papers and e-resources. To enhance the innovation and research at the institute the library provides relevant resources and material. There are 15000+ books, a good collection of academic CDs/ DVDs, etc. Accesses to e-resources are provided under the library with the help of DELNET & NISCAIR. • Hostel: Separate and Comfortable accommodation facilities are provided by the institute. The hostels are completely secured and have a mess facility, internet facility, clean drinking water facility, and much more. The rooms at the hostels are fully air conditioned, and furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, cupboards, etc. There are common room facilities equipped with TV, Newspaper, Magazines, and Indoor Games, which are used for recreational activities.

HITM Ambala Hostels are managed by Chief Warden, and Security Personnel. The canteen and mess facility help students by providing them hygienic food, beverages, snacks, and other required items.

• Seminar Hall: To organise various curricular and extracurricular events, the institute has established a well furnished seminar hall. It is equipped with latest LCD Projectors, Multimedia tools, and other modern equipment, which are used during guest lectures, group discussions, seminars, workshops, etc.
• Sports: To keep student’s minds and body healthy, the institute provides sports facilities. Modern and latest tools and other materials are provided for various games and sports activities including Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, etc.
