Note: If students wish to withdraw from the hostel, then the security deposit and mess charges only for the unutilised months will be refunded to them on a pro-rata basis.

The residents of the AKGEC hostel are supposed to abide by certain rules during their stay. If students are found to be breaking any guidelines then serious disciplinary actions may be taken against them and also it may result in their expulsion from the hostel / College or deduction in GP marks.

• Residents should not bully their fellow hostellers and ensure that they treat everybody with respect.
• Boarders are strictly prohibited from smoking and consuming drugs, alcohol, and other such intoxicants inside the residential premises. Additionally, possession of lethal weapons is banned.
• Students should ensure that they follow the entry and exit timings stated by the authorities and also report for attendance in person at the prescribed schedule.
• The visitors are permitted to meet the residents only in the visitor’s room during the permitted hours. To meet parents and local guardians beyond the visiting hours, students need to take permission from the warden.
• Students should know that once the Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College hostel rooms have been allotted, they are not allowed to change the same without the written consent of the Dean Hostels.
• The hostel premises including the allocated rooms must be kept clean and hygienic. Also, the hostel’s properties should not be altered or damaged. In case of any damage, a fine will be charged from the defaulters.
• Residents are not allowed to play loud music in their rooms and common areas of the Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College hostel. Also, late night parties and inappropriate birthday celebrations are not permitted.
