Integral University, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh is established in the year 1998 as Private University Educational Institute to provide higher education to build career in the field of Engineering, Management and Humanities. Integral University is having Affiliation with reputed NCTE, COA, PCI, INC, BCI, NAAC, UGC and NBA. Management of Integral University, Lucknow is working under Prof. Aqil Ahmad (Vice Chancellor).
One of the premier private universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the Integral University was established in the year 2004 in Lucknow. Integral University came into being by an act passed by the Uttar Pradesh State Legislature (Act no. 9 of 2004). The university enjoys the approvals of UGC, DEC, NCTE, UP State Medical Faculty, Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), BCI, COA, INC, PCI, and MCI.
NAAC has granted accreditation to Integral University and the ‘Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India” recognizes it as a ‘Scientific and Industrial Research Organization’. Originally known as the ‘Institute of Integral Technology’, (founded in 1998), Integral University is the nation’s first Minority University. The university has a total of 14 faculties dedicated to various academic areas including but not limited to agriculture, architecture, computer application, commerce & management, engineering, and health sciences.
These faculties between and amongst themselves offer more than 200 undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, and diploma programs. Integral University has a total of 13 faculties under its aegis, spread across more than 47 departments supervising over 11,000 students. The university boasts of alumni strength of more than 29,500, and has over 2500 resident students.
All the original faculties of the university were restructured leading to the formation of new academic departments. Some of the new faculties include pharmacy, science, education, health and medical sciences, management studies, law, humanities, and computer applications. The NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) placed IU in the 151-200 grouping amongst Indian universities.
