Indraprastha College for Women New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of the college has been designed out since the times of British Raj as it was established in 1924 as first women's college. The infrastructure is gladly maintained and precisely divided into classrooms and blocks and divisions. Our college is mainly 5 buildings where the main building has 1 to 30 numbers of classrooms and administrative office, staff room and principal's office. There are two other buildings with room number 31 to 45 and 46 to 50, respectively. They are named as New Academic Block and New Extension building with more lecture halls. One whole building is constituted as a library with vivid and vast availability of books. There is also a canteen with great food and Nestle point with more options. There are two front lawns, 2 to 3 random lawns, 1 park at the entrance and a huge sports field adds on to the infrastructure of the college.

The campus life is quite exciting and joyful. The crowd of the campus is overall approachable, welcoming and warm hearted to everyone. There are various clubs and societies in the college to get students engaged into various holistic development aimed programs. Other engagement activities include different seminars and activities each and every week in different domains by societies. The infrastructure of IP New Delhi is average. Classrooms are small. Washrooms need to clean on a regular basis. Each classroom only has two fans. Hence, the management needs to pay attention to upgrading the infrastructure.

Campus life is good. Since there are no boys, girls feel safe. The management of the college is conducting fewer events now as compared to past year. There are clubs that allow students to upgrade their skills.Read Full Review

Again I'm telling you, IP college for women is the most beautiful college of the entire Delhi University. You will find a similar vibe as that of white walls of Connaught Place. The college is 100 years old but trust me it is so beautiful. There is so much greenery, flora and fauna which you will find so beautiful. Our college has almost all the facilities like canteen, gym, Sports, societies, library, auditorium, conference hall, etc.

Campus life is good at this college. It depends whether you have a group of friends or not. If you have a group of friends, you'll find your campus life to be the best from the very first day. But if you don't have many friends, you might find it difficult in the beginning. Things will definitely get better as you spend time. The college is in north campus but it is a bit away from the actual north campus. All the colleges are in Vishwavidyalaya while the college lies in civil lines which are 15 minutes away. The area is Posh area. It’s very clean, and you'll find many go to places there.Read Full Review
