Each hostel room is shared by 3 people. You will get a fan, 3 beds, a table and a cupboard. Other things you will have to bring on your own. The quality of the mess food is a personal opinion. Some people will find it to be average while others find it below par. But the food options are never a problem because you will find a variety of options to choose from.
