CB Bhandari Jain College

The CB Bhandari Jain College has established a Placement Cell. It works dedicatedly to train the students so that they can develop the necessary industrial skills. Moreover, the cell has maintained strong corporate tie-ups with the companies and organisations. Through this, it aids the students in securing Internship & job opportunities through the CB Bhandari Jain College Placement drive.

The campus of the CB Bhandari Jain College is developed on a land area of approximately 0.18 acres and has a built-up area of nearly 4072 square metres. The classrooms of the College are air-conditioned and ICT enabled so that an interactive learning experience can be provided to the students. Other than this, tutorial rooms are also there for teaching-learning & demonstration purposes.

The entire CB Bhandari Jain College Campus is under CCTV surveillance to ensure a safe and secure environment is provided to the students. Wi-Fi connection is also available inside the premises so that students can access the Internet for academic & collaborative learning purposes.

Furthermore, lifts & ramps have been constructed and provision of wheelchairs has been made available for the specially-abled students with the purpose of providing equal learning opportunities to them.

The various major infrastructural amenities offered to the students studying at the College are discussed in detail below:

• Library: The library of the College has a well-stacked collection of learning resources that includes books, journals, magazines, encyclopedias, bound volumes, newspapers, and periodicals, to name a few. A reading room with sufficient seating capacity is there at the library so that students can study in a peaceful environment.
  Additionally, computers and internet facilities are available for the students to access the e-learning resources & platforms like NDL, e-ShodhSindhu, Shodhgangotri, Swayam, e-PG Pathshala, etc. The other facilities available are book bank, reference section, reprographic services, inter-library loan services, etc.
• Laboratories: Inside the premises of the CB Bhandari Jain College Bangalore, numerous Computer Labs / Centres are present wherein adequate number of PCs with the necessary hardware & software are available along with Internet connection. Students are encouraged to use the systems to develop their digital knowledge and for completing their academic tasks.
  Apart from this, the following fully-fledged departmental labs for the Management and Commerce discipline are there:

• Auditorium: The auditorium of the CB Bhandari Jain College is huge and has a seating capacity of nearly 700 students. It is well-equipped with the latest AV aids so that large-scale cultural and academic events can be organised efficiently.
• Other Spaces: The other learning spaces available inside the campus are conference halls / rooms, seminar halls / rooms, etc. that are fully-fledged with the necessary digital aids. Here, various academic activities are held.
• Cafeteria: At the cafeteria, students can spend their leisure time with their friends. Here, they are served with different types of snacks & beverages at economical prices.
• Hostel: Residential facilities are provided to the male & female students enrolled in the College. The hostellers are provided with requisite facilities in the allocated rooms. Mess facility is also available for the boarders wherein they are served with healthy vegetarian meals prepared under hygienic conditions.
• Sports: The College has adequate sports facilities for the students which includes a Quadrangle & an Indoor Sports Hall for Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, etc. Outdoor sports facilities are also available for games like Cricket, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Badminton, and so on. Apart from this, a well-equipped gymnasium is present wherein students can exercise and maintain their physical fitness.
• Medical Facilities: Basic healthcare facilities are provided to the students at the Infirmary of the CBBJC Bangalore.
