Shobhit University (also known as Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology), Meerut established in 2006 is a Deemed to be University Educational Institution. Shobhit University Meerut is approved by UGC, AICTE, NCTE, BCI and AIU, and is accredited by NAAC. Admission in Shobhit University is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
In the year 2006, the foundation of Shobhit Deemed University was laid down by Dr. Shobhit Kumar in Meerut. The University is AICTE and UGC-approved. It has accreditation from NAAC, AIU, NCTE, and BCI.
The University aims to educate future leaders in technical education, industry relevant innovations, and research. It also strives in becoming a leading institution that imparts quality academic and cultural knowledge along with ethical values. The Admission process of Shobhit Deemed University includes both online and offline methods. Interested candidates can apply from any one of the methods at their convenience. Both processes are explained below:
Online Admission
Open the website >>> Click on the “Apply Now” link >>> Register by filling up the particulars in the form >>> Check the agreement box >>> Click on the “Apply Now” tab >>> Download and fill out the Common Admission Form >>> Attach recent photograph >>> Email scanned copies of all the important documents along with the form.
Offline Admission
Walk into the Campus >>> Get fee details of a particular course >>> Purchase and fill up the Common Admission Form >>> Attach a recent photograph >>> Deposit copies of all the requisite documents.
After filling up the form from either of these methods, the University will check the fulfilment of eligibility criteria by candidates along with verifying their documents. If they meet all the eligibility criteria, they must appear for a Telephonic / Personal / Skype Interview or SUNET with the concerned faculty institute. An offer letter will be issued by the authority to the eligible candidates. Payment must be done after which a Provisional Admission Letter will be issued to them. Pay the entire fees of the course within the provided time period and confirm the admission.
*International candidates also have to follow the same admission procedure.
