The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat was started in 2007 under the aegis of the Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI). Later, in 2021, it was renamed to the Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU).
