The exam conducting body i.e., Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam will begin the AP PGECET Registration 2026 probably on 1^st April 2026. Aspirants can register themselves at ‘cets.apsche.ap.gov.in’ before the last date i.e., 30^th April 2026. The exam fee to be paid is Rs. 1200/-, Rs. 900/-, and Rs. 700/- for the students belonging to the OC, BC, and the SC / ST / PH categories, respectively.

The AP PGECET 2026 entrance exam will be held across different test centres through online Computer Based Test mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes & the medium of instructions will be in English language only.

Applicants should know that it is mandatory to carry the AP PGECET Admit Card 2026 to the allotted centre or else they will not be allowed to take the test. The hall ticket will be made available to the students from 31^st May 2026 onwards.

The AP PGECET Result 2026 & the rank card will be declared on 24^th June 2026 & 25^th June 2026, respectively. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam will be able to download their results & rank cards separately from ‘cets.apsche.ap.gov.in’.

Furthermore, the qualifying marks specified by the conducting authority for the AP PGECET 2026 are 25% marks i.e., 30 marks out of 120. However, there are no minimum passing marks prescribed for the students belonging to the SC / ST categories.

Students who pass the entrance test will be further eligible for the AP PGECET Counselling Process 2026. 85% of the admission seats will be allocated to the local applicants, and the remaining 15% seats will be unreserved & granted to the candidates according to the regulations of the State Government.

During the AP PGECET Seat Allotment 2026, preference for admission will be given on the basis of merit to students who have qualified for GATE / GPAT. Post this, the vacant seats will be filled in the order of merit by the AP PGECET 2026 qualifying students.
