According to the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment pattern 2026, the conducting body will conduct an On-the-Spot Essay (OSE) and Ashoka Aptitude Assessment (AAA). Moreover, the duration of OSE will be 30 minutes in which students will have to write an essay on the specified topic in English language only. Also, the minimum word count for the same is 250 words, however, no maximum word limit is there.
In addition to this, the Ashoka Aptitude Assessment will have overall 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) will be given to the candidates to complete the same. Also, the questions will be related to topics like Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Critical Thinking which will be asked only in English language.
