The exam conducting authority i.e., AIMS is expected to conduct the December session on 22nd December 2025. The ATMA registration 2026 for the December session will probably start on 15th October 2025 & close on 11th December 2025. The last date to pay the application fee is 9th December 2025. ATMA i.e., the AIMS Test of Management Admissions is a single-window National Level Entrance Examination. It is conducted for admission in PG Programs such as MBA, MCA, MMS, & PGDM that are offered by more than 200 Business Schools for admissions across India. The ATMA exam is conducted in 4-5 sessions by AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools). All sessions, registrations and exams are done in Online mode.

ATMA exam 2026 is a Centre-Based Online Entrance Test which is conducted multiple times in a year to offer admissions to the students in PG Programs like MCA, PGDM, MBA, MMS, etc. that are nationally accepted. The exam is of 3 hours that is based on multiple choice questions.

Every year, the authorities conduct the exam 4-5 times a year including February, May, June, July, and December sessions.The ATMA 2026 exam for all sessions will be conducted online.

Before starting the registration for ATMA Exam, students must go through the ATMA 2026 Eligibility Criteria prescribed by the conducting body. Moreover, students who are currently in the final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply. Candidates who fulfil the following minimum educational qualification are eligible to appear for ATMA:

• Secured at least 50% marks in Graduation from a UGC recognised University.

OR

• Completed CA (Charted Accountancy).

* Applicants who do not meet the desired eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for ATMA Exam 2026.

Aspirants fulfilling the eligibility norms can proceed with ATMA 2026 Registration. The Registration window for the exam’s December Session will be open from 15th October 2025 to 11th December 2025. Students can register themselves on the official website i.e., “atmaaims.com”.

To apply for the exam, students must enter their basic details on the registration page. A separate login password will be sent to their provided email & SMS. They must upload the required documents and pay the registration fee of Rs. 2000/- and then fill the Application Form of ATMA  December Session 2026 online and choose the desired test centre.

Students can download the ATMA 2026 Syllabus from the conducting body’s official website at “atmaaims.com”. The syllabus contains an outline of the topics that must be covered by the applicants in order to score well in the exam.  The following 3 skill set sections will be there in the exam of ATMA exam and students need to prepare on the basis of these:

• Analytical Reasoning Skill
• Verbal Skill
• Quantitative Skill.

*These skill set sections are divided into 2 sections each that make the 6 sections of the exam paper.

AIMS (conducting body) sets the exam pattern of the Centre-Based Online Test, ATMA.  Students must go through the ATMA 2026 Exam Pattern which is the same for each session in order to understand the format of the question paper. It will help them to formulate requisite strategies to solve the question paper on time. ATMA is conducted for a time duration of 180 minutes (3 hours), out of which 30 minutes are allocated for each of the 6 sections.

Moreover, there are a total of 180 MCQs - Multiple Choice Questions in the exam paper; each section has 30 MCQs. Thus, total marks of the examination is 180 for which, 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer & 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

It is compulsory for the students to carry the admit card while appearing for ATMA 2026 exam. It includes the essential information regarding the ATMA exam date 2026 & the related guidelines about the exam that has to be strictly followed by the students. AIMS will conduct the admission test in various ATMA 2026 Exam Centres which includes schools / institutes / colleges across the states of the country. Students have the provision of selecting 2 test centre locations so that in case the 1^st centre is not available, the candidate will automatically be given the 2^nd preferred centre location in the admit card.

* Once the centre location for ATMA has been allocated, candidates cannot change the test centre. In exceptional cases following a valid reason, candidates may be permitted to change their respective test centre if the request for change is made before the last date of registration, and is subject to approval of the test administrator & seat availability.

Aspirants must study well & make the necessary strategies in order to score well in the exam. Some of the preparation tips that applicants can follow for qualifying ATMA examination are listed below:

• Students are advised to download the syllabus issued by AIMS and go through it thoroughly to be aware of all the topics that need to be covered.
• Solving past years papers is a crucial part of ATMA 2026 Preparation, as it will help the aspirants in deeply understanding the exam pattern & the difficulty level of the test.
• Candidates should appear for the exam mock tests regularly so that they will learn time management & solve the questions more effectively.
• Regular revisions are very important to get well versed with the topics and ultimately to achieve a good score in the exam.
• Students must often do self assessment to evaluate their progress and accordingly work upon their weaknesses to perform well in the exam.

There are certain guidelines issued by the conducting body that the candidates appearing for ATMA exam 2026 (for each session) must strictly follow on the exam day. The guidelines are:

• Students will not be allowed entry in the examination premises without a valid printout of admit card & its 2 copies.
• It is advised that the students must arrive at the test centre at least 1 hour (60 minutes) before the ATMA 2026 exam time so that they get enough time to be seated, login to the system & read the instructions carefully.
• Candidates appearing for the exam must additionally carry 2 recently clicked photographs, a copy of the registration form, and copy of proof of identification (Passport / PAN Card / Voter’s Card / Aadhaar Card / Driving License), etc.
• Bringing articles like calculators, mobile phones, books, slide-rulers, notebooks, & other electronic devices to the test centre are strictly not allowed.
• Students must note that the allotted computer will not be swapped with other systems of the test centre without the permission of the test supervisor.
• In case of any misconduct / unfair practice, the candidate’s score will be officially cancelled by the office of ATMA.

* Learner’s Driving License & Ration Card won’t be accepted as a valid proof of identity.

* Married candidates who have changed their name must bring the original Gazette notification / affidavit / original marriage certificate. If they fail to show proof at the test centre, they will not be allowed to appear for the ATMA exam.

Regularly solving the past year papers of the exam will help the applicants in becoming familiar with the exam pattern of ATMA exam 2026 & also prepare according to the difficulty level of the questions.

Candidates can download the ATMA Previous Year Question Papers from the official website i.e., “atmaaims.com” & start practising the sample questions to score well in exams.Solving the previous year question papers will help the students in understanding the type of questions they can expect in the exam.

AIMS, the conducting body of the examination will conduct an online mock test a few days before the ATMA exam date 2026. It is very important to take the mock test as it helps in self evaluation. Moreover, students will get an idea of the rules they need to follow on the actual exam day.

Applicants are advised to attempt the ATMA 2026 Mock Test to see where they stand and accordingly revise the topics that they are weak in. Appearing in mock tests, analysing the performance, and improving accordingly will boost the confidence of the ATMA exam aspirants.

An answer key will be released by the conducting body AIMS on its official website after the ATMA 2026 exam will be held successfully. The notification for the date of announcement of the answer key has not been released yet by the exam authorities.

Students can access & download the answer key from “atmaaims.com”. It will contain the correct answers of the questions which were included in the exam. So, the students can match their marked answers with the correct options given & predict their scores through the official answer key of ATMA 2026.

AIMS (the conducting body) will announce the results of ATMA 2026 Result ffor December Session on 28th December 2025. The results will be available on the official website of AIMS at “atmaaims.com”. Students can visit the website and download their score cards by logging in using their email & password used at the time of exam registration.

The candidates must note that as per the exam scores, those who qualify the ATMA exam 2026 will be eligible to take admission in the participating institutes. Also, it is to be noted that a hard copy of the score card report is issued only when requested.

ATMA 2026 cut off marks list acts as a benchmark that the students need to score for qualifying the exam. Only those students who will qualify ATMA exam 2026 will be given  admission in any one of their desired Programs such as MBA, MMS, MCA, & PGDM offered by the ATMA participating institutes situated all over India.

After the announcements of results, participating institutes will release their separate cut off lists for the exam. Students can visit their preferred institute’s website for checking the cut off marks. Following this, they can proceed with the admission process including Group Discussion & Personal Interview rounds.

The process of ATMA 2026 Seat Allotment will start after the announcement of ATMA 2026 results. Students must check whether they qualify the individual cut off marks of the preferred announcement and accordingly apply in the Institutes.

Students must appear for the ATMA 2026 counselling and appear for their GD & PI rounds in order to get admission in their preferred course. Additionally, they must complete the necessary admission formalities in order to confirm their admission seats.
