QA is the last section of CAT Exam syllabus 2025. This section of MBA CAT syllabus is considered tough in comparison to the other two sections as this includes mathematical problems.

Applicants must be aware that the questions in the CAT exam pattern are based on the content mentioned in the CAT 2025 syllabus. Thus, students are advised to understand the paper pattern well in advance to avoid confusion on the actual exam day. According to the CAT 2025 exam pattern, the test will be conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a period of 120 minutes.
The question paper will be segregated into 3 sections namely, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Students will be asked both MCQs and Type In The Answer (TITA) type questions, each carrying a weightage of 3 marks. For every incorrect answer in the MCQs, -1 mark shall be deducted. There will be no negative marking for the TITA & un-attempted questions.
