COMEDK UGET, also known as the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test is an National Level Examination. The exam is for aspirants who wish to take admission in the UG Engineering Courses including B.E / B.Tech offered by the Universities / Institutes located in Karnataka. To apply for the test, candidates should have passed the Class 12^th or its equivalent with PCM and English and obtain at least 45% marks (5% relaxation to SC, ST, and OBC students of Karnataka). To appear in the exam, students need to complete the COMEDK Registration 2026 before its last date i.e.,16th March 2026. The exam conducting body i.e., COMEDK will start the registration on 3rd February 2026.

The exam conducting body will upload the COMEDK UGET Answer Key 2026 after a few days of the main exam day. The answer key will be released online on “comedk.org”. The authorities will release the provisional answer key tentatively in the 3^rd Week of May 2026. The answer key will enable candidates to calculate the probable marks they may obtain in the exam result.

Students who find any discrepancies in the key and want to raise an objection against the provisional answer key have to pay Rs.500/- + applicable charges (if any) per question. Afterwards, the authorities will review the objections and a final answer key will be released by the COMEDK most expectedly in the 4^th Week of May 2026 which cannot be further challenged.

The exam authorities generate rank / merit on the basis of the student’s performance in the entrance test. Students with a valid COMEDK UGET score can participate in the counselling sessions to secure admission in their desired Universities / Institutes situated in Karnataka state. 

The cutoff of the test is declared by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) after the result is out. Students will be able to check the COMEDK UGET Cut off 2026 on the exam’s official website.

The cut-off list includes the minimum and maximum rank / scores which a student needs to obtain in the entrance examination for admission in participating Universities / Institutes. The cut-off of the exam is determined by various factors including previous year cut off list, difficulty standard of the test, number of students appearing for the exam, etc.

The exam conducting body will start the COMEDK UGET Counselling 2026 online at “comedk.org”. Students who have passed the entrance exam are required to register for the counselling / selection process by paying the fee of Rs.2000/- which is non-refundable in any situation. Without participating in the counselling / selection process, candidates cannot get admission in any participating Universities / Institutes.

The whole counselling of the exam is conducted in three rounds. The round 1 includes General Merit / Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) seats. Whereas, round 2 has two phases; the Phase 1 has KKR seats and Phase 2 consists of General Merit seats. The round 3 comprises only General Merit seats.

During the registration process of counselling, students have to fill in the mentioned details and upload the required documents and certificates for verification. After completing the registration, students have to complete the choice filling.
