COMEDK UGET 2025: Result (7 June), Answer Key (Released), Eligibility, Syllabus, and More

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the COMEDK UGET answer key on May 28, 2025. Students can raise challenge the answer key until May 30, 2025, on its official website.

The COMEDK exam was held on two different dates. For some exam centers, it was successfully conducted on May 10, 2025. However, due to postponement at a few centers, the exam was held again on May 25, 2025, in a single session.

Because of this delay, the COMEDK UGET result will now be announced on June 7, 2025.

COMEDK UGET, also known as the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test is an National Level Examination. The exam is for aspirants who wish to take admission in the UG Engineering Courses including B.E / B.Tech offered by the Universities / Institutes located in Karnataka. Aspiring & eligible candidates can visit the exam’s official website i.e., “comedk.org” to register online for the test when the authorities will begin the registration process.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka is the conducting body of the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET).

The registration for the COMEDK UGET 2025 will probably start in the 1^st Week of February 2025 and will be open expectedly till the 1^st Week of April 2025.The upcoming COMEDK exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam authorities conduct the test once in a year.

Students who want to secure admission in the B.E / B.Tech program of their desired Universities / Institutes should know that they have to fulfil the COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by the exam conducting body before starting the registration process.

To apply for the test, candidates should have passed the Class 12^th or its equivalent with PCM and English and obtain at least 45% marks (5% relaxation to SC, ST, and OBC students of Karnataka). There is no age criteria specified for the candidates. Indian, OCI, and PIO candidates are considered eligible for the exam.

To appear in the exam, students need to complete the COMEDK Registration 2025 before its last date i.e., 1^st Week of April 2025 (Tentative). The exam conducting body i.e., COMEDK will start the registration most probably in the 1^st Week of February 2025.

To register for the test, candidates should navigate “comedk.org” (the exam’s official website) and fill in the required details. After registration, students must login with the generated User ID and Password to fill the application form and complete the application process by paying Rs.1800/- as an examination fee.

To get good marks in the exam, students should prepare as per COMEDK Syllabus 2025 designed by the exam authorities. In the question paper, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked. The COMEDK UGET 2025 exam paper will consist of 180 MCQs which candidates have to solve within the prescribed time that is 3 Hours. The Test Admission Ticket (TAT) / Admit Card of the exam will be issued by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) possibly in the 2^nd Week of May 2025. The COMEDK UGET Admit Card 2025 will be made available to the students on the exam’s official website, “comedk.org”. To get entry inside the examination hall, students need to bring their admit card on the test day.

The exam conducting body will upload the COMEDK UGET Answer Key 2025 after a few days of the main exam day. The answer key will be released online on “comedk.org”. The authorities will release the provisional answer key tentatively in the 3^rd Week of May 2025. The answer key will enable candidates to calculate the probable marks they may obtain in the exam result.

Students who find any discrepancies in the key and want to raise an objection against the provisional answer key have to pay Rs.500/- + applicable charges (if any) per question. Afterwards, the authorities will review the objections and a final answer key will be released by the COMEDK most expectedly in the 4^th Week of May 2025 which cannot be further challenged.

The COMEDK UGET Result 2025 will be announced online on the exam’s official website. On the basis of last year, the result is expected to be declared in the 4^th Week of May 2025. To check the result and download the score card, students need to navigate “comedk.org” and enter login details.

The exam authorities generate rank / merit on the basis of the student’s performance in the entrance test. Students with a valid COMEDK UGET score can participate in the counselling sessions to secure admission in their desired Universities / Institutes situated in Karnataka state.

The cutoff of the test is declared by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) after the result is out. Students will be able to check the COMEDK UGET Cut off 2025 on the exam’s official website.

The cut-off list includes the minimum and maximum rank / scores which a student needs to obtain in the entrance examination for admission in participating Universities / Institutes. The cut-off of the exam is determined by various factors including previous year cut off list, difficulty standard of the test, number of students appearing for the exam, etc.

The exam conducting body will start the COMEDK UGET Counselling 2025 online at “comedk.org”. Students who have passed the entrance exam are required to register for the counselling / selection process by paying the fee of Rs.2000/- which is non-refundable in any situation. Without participating in the counselling / selection process, candidates cannot get admission in any participating Universities / Institutes.

The whole counselling of the exam is conducted in three rounds. The round 1 includes General Merit / Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) seats. Whereas, round 2 has two phases; the Phase 1 has KKR seats and Phase 2 consists of General Merit seats. The round 3 comprises only General Merit seats.

During the registration process of counselling, students have to fill in the mentioned details and upload the required documents and certificates for verification. After completing the registration, students have to complete the choice filling. Once all the formalities are completed, the exam authorities will notify the students regarding the COMEDK UGET Seat Allotment 2025.
