GECET Registration 2026 (Ongoing): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The link for the GECET registration 2026 for Phase 2 is live. Students should complete the requisite formalities before the through online or offline mode before the GECET registration last date i.e., 15^th February 2026. For online registration, candidates can go to ‘geu.ac.in’ or else, visit the University’s campus or Admission Centres to proceed with the offline registration process.

The Graphic Era University (Deemed-to-be-University), Dehradun conducts the GECET exam in 2 phases for granting admission to the students in several UG & PG courses available at its different campuses. The form for the GECET registration 2026 and admission is the same.

Candidates can appear for the GECET exam to enhance their chances of securing admission at the desired campus and obtain scholarship benefits.

To appear for the GECET Exam 2026, aspirants have to complete the application process and then pay a fee of Rs. 1500/-. The fee for the GECET registration 2026 has to be paid using any one of the below-listed methods of payment:

• UPI ID
• Credit / Debit Card
• Wallet
• Net Banking

* Apart from registering for the entrance test, it is crucially important for the students to fulfil the GECET Eligibility Criteria 2026 to avoid the rejection of their application in later stages.

The GECET registration 2026 can be completed either through online or offline mode. Students should be informed that they can get direct admission at the University & its campuses. However, to increase the chances of securing admission & getting scholarship benefits, candidates can appear for & pass the entrance test.

Online Application

Students who are planning to apply for the University level entrance test through online mode can follow the steps described below:

• Go to ‘geu.ac.in’ and choose the ‘Apply Now’ tab.
• The GECET exam 2026 registration form will appear on the screen. Type the following details in the respective fields:
  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • State & City
  • Course Type
  • Department & Level
  • Course

• Verify the OTP received on the mobile number, accept the declaration displayed, and then select the ‘Register’ tab to finish the registration process.
• The page will then automatically redirect to the application form dashboard.
• The password and a verification link will be sent to the registered email address. Click on the button to finish setting up the account.

* Candidates who are already registered can navigate the registration window and choose the ‘Already have an account? Login’ tab and login using the email address & password / OTP.

• On the dashboard, click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab.
• The GECET 2026 application form will open wherein the information provided during the registration will be automatically filled. Complete the remaining fields & provide the documents in specified format.
• Choose whether or not to appear for the GECET 2026.
• Press on the ‘I Agree’ button to accept the declaration.
• Select the ‘Save & Exit’ tab to save the provided details and complete the remaining process later or else, choose the ‘Registration Fee’ option.
• Upon clicking on the ‘Registration Fee’ tab, the payment gateway will open. Pay the requisite exam fee using the preferred mode of payment.

Offline Application

Candidates can conclude the application process for the Graphic Era Common Entrance Test (GECET) through offline mode as well. The detailed procedure for the same is mentioned below:

• Visit any of the Graphic Era University campuses or its pan India Admission Centres and purchase the admission / application form by paying Rs. 1500/-.
• Fill-in the application form by navigating ‘geu.ac.in’, upload a scanned copy of the filled in application form, and include the custom Serial Number that is printed on the offline form.
• The applicants in such a case are not required to pay the fee again while submitting the online form.

* After completing the process for GECET registration 2026 through the preferred mode, the applicants will receive a notification through email / WhatsApp.

Note: Aspiring students are suggested to give sufficient time to complete the GECET Syllabus 2026 & analyse the GECET Exam Pattern 2026 to improve their chances of securing the desired marks in the test.

The conducting body provides the provision to students to recover their password after the GECET registration 2026. The password can be retrieved by following the directions given below:

• Go to the login page and click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button.
• Enter the email ID in the space provided and then select the ‘Submit’ option.
• An OTP will be sent to the registered email address and mobile number. Type the OTP and press the ‘Submit’ tab.
• Fill the ‘Enter New Password’ and ‘Re-Enter Password’ fields, and finally choose the ‘Submit’ button to complete the process.

Various documents will be required by the students while completing the application process. Thus, candidates are advised to keep the following documents available before proceeding with the GECET registration 2026:

• PAN Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport Size Photograph

The guidelines to upload the documents during the GECET registration 2026 are discussed in detail below:

Passport Size Photograph

The coloured, passport size photograph of the student should be clicked in high resolution and uploaded in JPEG / JPG / PNG format. The file size of the same should not be more than 1 MB.

The other specifications are as follows:

• The photograph should not be more than 6 months old and clicked against a well-lit, simple, and light-coloured backdrop.
• Use natural and diffused lighting to avoid harsh shadows in the photograph.
• The face & shoulder should be captured with a front view & neutral expression. At least 70-80% face should be prominently visible within the frame. Also, the eyes should be open while clicking the photograph.
• Wear professional attire and avoid clothes with distracting logos or patterns. Wearing hats / sunglasses / headscarves / other such accessories is not permitted.
• Uploading photos with filters / selfies is strictly not allowed.

Aadhaar Card

Students are required to upload both the front & back sides of their Aadhaar Card. They will be allowed to upload a maximum of 2 files in such a case. Moreover, the accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, and PDF having a file size of less than 2 MB.
