GUJCET Registration 2026 (Started): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The GUJCET 2026 registration is expected to commence from 17th December 2025 for the candidates. In addition to this, the students will be able to apply for the entrance test probably till 31st December 2025.

The GSEB (also known as GSHSEB) will likely conduct the exam on 23rd March 2026. The aspirants have to pay the fee of Rs. 350/- for GUJCET 2026 registration in order to appear in the exam.

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test, commonly known as GUJCET, will be held for admission into Undergraduate courses in Engineering and Pharmacy field, offered by the participating Institutes in Gujarat. The aspirants of GUJCET can register for the exam through online mode only.

The state-level GUJCET exam is conducted annually by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The official notification of the GUJCET Registration 2026 has been updated by the board on the official website “gujcet.gseb.org” / “gseb.org” where students can register & apply for the exam.

The applicants of the exam are required to pay an amount of Rs. 350/- as an examination fee in order to apply for the exam before the GUJCET 2026 application form last date. The fee amount is applicable for all the GUJCET aspirants.

Aspirants of the GUJCET 2026 have to pay the application fees through any one of the following online modes in order to apply for the exam:

• SBIePay System: Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking
• Online SBIePay: “SBI Branch Payment” (from any SBI branch of the country).

To appear in the exam, eligible candidates have to register and apply through the official website only i.e., “gujcet.gseb.org” or “gseb.org”. Candidates can apply for the GUJCET exam by following the below-listed 4 steps:

Step 1:  Registration

• Visit the official website of the board (conducting body) which is “gujcet.gseb.org”.
• Go to the ‘GSHSEB Board Website’ link, a new page will open.
• Click on the “GUJCET Exam Registration 2026” option and it will get redirected to the registration page.
• Press the “Registration” link reflecting in the top right corner or tap the “Click Here for New Candidate Registration” button.
• On the registration page, enter information such as Candidate’s Name, Surname, Guardian’s Name, Gender, Mobile Number and Email ID.
• Create a password & confirm it. Then, enter the Captcha as shown on screen.
• After carefully filling-in the above mentioned information, click the “Register” button.
• Afterwards, students will receive a 5 digit OTP on their registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and complete the registration process.

* Already registered candidates can skip the above mentioned registration process and proceed for direct login.

Step 2: Login

• Visit “gujcet.gseb.org”. and go to the log in page.
• Login by using the Mobile Number / Email ID and Password. Enter the Captcha reflected on the screen and select the “Login” button.

Step 3: Fee Payment

• Once logged-in, pay the GUJCET application fees through any one of the available online modes payment options.
• Afterwards, take the printout of the successful payment slip for future reference.

* Only after successful payment, the option for filling the application form will be shown. Candidates cannot fill the application form in case of failed payment status.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

• Fill-in the online application form by entering all the below-mentioned essential details:
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Disability
  • Caste
  • Address with Pin code
  • Contact Number
  • Educational Qualification
  • Exam centre (only 1)
  • Passing Year
  • Group (i.e., A / B / AB)
  • Language / Medium
• Upload the Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format only.
• Afterwards, click on the “Save” tab to verify all the filled-in details in the application form and click on the “Submit” button.

Note: Students can download the application form and take the printout of the same to remember the application number for future reference.

Special Points to Consider

Candidates are advised to remember the below-mentioned points at the time of filling the GUJCET 2026 application form:

• Carefully fill-in all the details in their respective columns.
• All the name details need to be filled according to the application form of class 12^th board examination.
• In case a candidate wants to keep the parent’s / guardian’s name or surname column blank, they can put the full stop (.) in that column.
• The password must be of 8 digits and according to the prescribed instructions.
• The centre details cannot be changed after the submission of the application form.

In case the registered candidates forget their password, it can be recovered by following the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the ‘login page’ on the official website of GSHSEB “gseb.org”.
• Click the “Forgot Password” tab and a new page will appear.
• Enter the Mobile Number and Captcha as shown on the screen.
• Afterwards, tap the “Submit” tab.
• The candidates will receive the password on their registered mobile number.
• After the successful password change, go back to the log in page.

Through the exam’s official website, GSEB (the exam conducting body), provides a facility where registered candidates can correct their mistakes (if any) in the submitted online application form.

After the completion of the application process, candidates can visit “gujcet.gseb.org” to access the correction window. Candidates have to complete the application for correction by entering all the asked information in the required fields such as Candidate’s Name, Application Number, Contact Details, Date, etc. Later on, the application for correction needs to be sent to the prescribed address with the following documents:

• A copy of downloaded GUJCET application form 2026
• 2 passport-size Photographs
• A copy of correction to be made in receipt

In order to appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, candidates must ensure to fulfil the eligibility requirements set by GSHSEB. As per the GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2026, there is no upper and lower age limit to appear for the exam.

The candidates must have qualified 12^th / HSC with PCB / PCM in the final exam with minimum 45% marks, in order to apply for the GUJCET. Moreover, the aspirant needs to be a citizen of India and a Domicile of the Gujarat State.
