Step 1: Online IAT Exam Registration 2026

Passport Size Photograph

To scan & upload the photograph in the IAT registration 2026 form, follow the instructions mentioned below:

• The photograph should be coloured & clicked with a white background till shoulders wherein the face, open eyes, neck, and both ears of the applicant are clearly visible. Avoid creating a border around the photo.

*Applicants should be informed that their face should cover 70-80% of the frame.

• Additionally, the photo should not be more than 3 months old, and is supposed to be clicked with a front view with a neutral expression. Head coverings, hair, turban, head-dress, and any other facial ornaments should not cover the face.
• The height & width of the passport size photo should be 45 mm*35 mm having size between 80-200 KB. Moreover, the format of the uploaded photo should be JPG / JPEG.

*The photograph should be cropped properly. If it is found to be of poor quality / swapped / digitally enhanced / altered then in such a case, students’ application will be rejected.

Note: To resize the photograph to 276*354 pixels, open MS Paint & select the ‘Resize’ tab & then ‘Pixels’ option. Now, choose the ‘Maintain Aspect Ratio’ and set the horizontal value to 276 & vertical value to 354 OR directly set the scanner to 200 DPI.

Signature

Aspiring students can scan their signature & upload the same by following these steps:

• Draw a box using dark blue / black ink pen of 2.5 cm (height)*6.0 cm (width) size and sign within the borders.

*The signature should be signed by the applicant only.

• Take a photograph of the signature within the box in bright light (avoid flash) using a digital device. Ensure that the shadow of the camera / hands / smartphone does not fall on the paper.
• After this, save the file in JPEG format.
• To edit the digital image of the signature, transfer the clicked photograph of the same to a computer / laptop. Use the auto-correct feature of the image editing software (if required) to make the signature look clearly visible on a white background.
• Now, resize the image between 50-200 KB without altering the dimension.

*For other documents like caste certificate, PwD certificate, etc.; the same has to be uploaded during IAT registration 2026 having size between 200 KB to 1 MB, in the specified format.
