JEE Main Registration 2026 Session 1 (Closed): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., the exam conducting body has closed the link for the JEE Main Registration - Session 1 & correction window for the same. Interested students will be able to complete the JEE Main Session 2 registration probably in the last week of January 2026.

Aspirants will be able to complete the registration for JEE Main exam 2026 online on the official website of the conducting authority. The JEE Main 2026 registration fee for the unreserved category is Rs. 1000/- male (Rs. 800/- for female). Male students belonging to the General-EWS & the OBC-NCL categories are required to pay Rs. 900/- (& Rs. 800/- for the female. However, the exam fee for the SC / ST / PwD male & female aspirants is Rs. 500/-.

JEE Mains 2026 form date will be released in October. The registration process of JEE Main 2026 is Online. Students are advised to follow below-given steps to fill the Application Form:

Step 1: For JEE registration 2026, applicants are given a choice of choosing any of the following points to register on the official website:

• A DigiLocker account through the NAD portal
• Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID)
• Indian Passport Number
• Non-Indian Passport Number
• PAN Card Number
• Aadhaar Enrollment Number

Step 2: Afterwards, fill in all the details like mobile number, email ID, and others.

Step 3: Now, the applicants will receive an application number generated and a created password on their email.

*The generated application number is valid for each session. Candidates are eligible to directly log in with the same credentials.

Step 4: Revisit the website and login with credentials received or Digilocker ID / ABC ID.

Step 5: Fill the following details in the JEE application form 2026:

• Applying for the paper
• Educational Details
• Selecting Examination Cities

Step 6: Now, scan and upload the following images and documents:

• Candidates Photograph
• Signature
• PwD Certificate / UDID Card (If any)

Step 7: In the end, submit the examination form fee through any one option from Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, and UPI.

There are various documents required for JEE mains 2026 application process. While filling the form, applicants should scan and upload the documents & images by following the given instructions:

• Candidate’s passport size photo can be in colour or black & white format against a white background along with minimum 80% space occupied by their face.
• It is mandatory that the size of the scanned photo is between 10KB to 200KB.
• Scanned photo and signature of the candidates should be either in JPG or JPEG format.
• Scanned signature size must be between 4KB to 30KB.
• The scanned copy of the PwD Certificate should be in PDF format between the size of 50KB to 300KB.

* All the scanned documents and images should be clear and legible to understand.

The NTA provides the JEE Main correction form facility only once. The correction form window link can be found on the NTA (the exam conducting body) official website. After that, the exam authorities will not entertain any further changes in any situation.
