The registration of KMAT Kerala 2026 exam has begun from 22nd December 2025 for Session 1. The registration portal for Session 2 is likely to open in the Last Week of May 2026. Once the students satisfy the eligibility conditions, they can proceed with the KMAT Kerala 2026 Registration.

For both sessions, the registration of the KMAT Kerala 2026 exam will be commenced online on “cee.kerala.gov.in” (the exam’s official website) by the test conducting body i.e., CEE, Kerala. The Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) will announce the KMAT Kerala 2026 Syllabus very soon on the exam’s official website i.e., “cee.kerala.gov.in”. For now, aspiring candidates are suggested to refer to the previous year exam syllabus in order to prepare well for the KMAT 2026 exam.

In accordance with the KMAT Kerala 2026 Exam Pattern, the entrance exam will be held Online in CBT - Computer Based Test mode. To complete the entire question paper, students will have 3 Hours (180 Minutes). The exam paper will include 180 Objective Type Questions / Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

In the KMAT exam 2026, there will be 4 sections which are English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data sufficiency and Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The first 2 sections will have 50 questions each and the remaining 2 will have 40 questions (each). The authorities award 4 Marks for every correct answer and deducts -1 Mark for every incorrect answer. No negative marking is applicable for unattempted / unanswered questions.

The CEE, Kerala i.e., the test conducting body has set the guidelines / instructions to help the students in understanding what they have to do or not to do on the examination day; the details of the same are as follows:

• Students must report at their allotted examination centre around 1 Hour before the starting time of the exam for the registration formalities. Once the prescribed registration time is over which is 30 minutes before the test time, no candidate will be allowed to register.
• Aspirants appearing in the exam must carry their admit card / hall ticket along with a valid Photo ID proof such as the Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Passport / Licence, etc. for verification purposes at the test centre. Failing at this will lead the candidates to be disqualified from the entrance test.
• Candidates must take their allotted seat / place in their examination hall, as per the details mentioned in the access card issued to them at the centre.
• During the examination, if invigilators find any applicants involved in unfair and improper conduct, they will be immediately disqualified from the entrance test.
• Candidates are prohibited to carry their own rough sheet / paper inside the test hall as the authorities will provide one to them. Moreover, at the end of the exam, it should be submitted to the examiner.
