MAT Registration 2025 September Session (Ongoing): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The All India Management Association (AIMS) i.e., the exam conducting body has opened the MAT registration 2025 (September session) registration window for both PBT and CBT mode. The registration for MAT 2025 - September session will end on 15^th September 2025 for PBT and for CBT, the last date to register is 22^nd September 2025.

Candidates who want to appear for the examination can register for the test through the exam’s official website. MAT is a National level test through which qualifying students can get admission into Postgraduate Management programs. It is conducted 4 times a year i.e., February, May, September and December. The MAT exam is held in multiple modes, majorly in PBT (Paper Based Test) and CBT (Computer Based Test), and PBT + CBT mode, respectively.

The test is conducted mainly in 2 modes i.e., CBT and PBT. The candidates can opt for the exam either individually or in multiple modes. The below-given table comprises the schedule for MAT Exam registration 2025:

Applicants can pay the requisite fee after filling in the application form through online mode only using the below-listed methods:

* Candidates selecting for additional tests (multiple modes) MAT Registration 2025 will get the benefit of choosing 2 more Management Institutes for sending their entrance test scores.

The aspiring candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps for MAT Exam registration 2025:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the MAT Exam i.e., “mat.aima.in”.

Step 2: To register, fill the essential details such as:

• Candidate’s Full Name
• E-mail Address
• Mobile Number
• State / UT
• City
• A Unique Password

Step 3: Click on the checkbox and enter the Captcha Code as shown on the screen.

* To receive the OTP for the verification process the applicant must have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.

Step 4: Click the “Register” icon to proceed.

*After the registration, a Login ID and Password will be sent to the candidates on the registered Email ID.

*The candidates who have already registered can skip the above steps and directly click on “Login for MAT” option.

Step 5: Enter the E-mail ID & Password and click the “Login” button.

Step 6: Now, a dashboard will open on the website for MAT where the students can start the application process.

Step 7: Now, select the mode of examination (either any one or two test modes) in the first step of the application form.

Step 8: Upload the required documents i.e., Photograph and Signature in the given format.

Step 9: Afterwards, choose the Management Institutes (MIs)

*Students are allowed to choose 5 management Institutes. Moreover, candidates choosing for multiple test modes will get a benefit of selecting 2 additional MIs. Candidates need to pay INR 118/- (including GST 18%) for selecting extra 2MIs.

Step 10: Now, Students will be directed to the payment page; pay examination form fees through any of the below-given options:

• UPI / Net Banking
• Debit Card
• Credit Card
• Wallet

Step 11: After the payment, candidates have to fill in all the personal information, qualification, and experience details that are required for screening their eligibility.

Step 10: The final step is to Submit the application.

* Before submitting the application form, candidates can take a printout for future reference.

* After finalising the MAT Exam registration 2025 process, candidates must start their preparation as per the MAT exam pattern 2025.

Special Notes to Consider

The below-given are important points that candidates must keep in consideration while filling & submitting the application form:

• Candidates who have submitted the application form can update the details or additional information except their Name, DOB, Email ID and Mobile Number.
• Students can make changes in their chosen exam mode; they can select the multiple mode by paying an additional amount of Rs. 1500/-.

Candidates opting for additional Management Institutes need to pay an extra amount of Rs. 118/- (GST 18% included) on each MI option.

Some of the additional points to keep in mind while uploading the documents during the MAT Registration 2025 are as follows:

• Photographs must be recent, passport size, and coloured (preferably with white background).
• If applicants wear glasses then their eyes must be clearly visible. It is mandatory for the candidates to ensure both their ears are visible in the photograph. Moreover, the photograph must not be clicked while wearing a cap / hat / dark glasses.
• Furthermore, religious headwear is allowed; it should not cover the face of the students.
• The signature must be on white paper with black ink pen. Also, it should match with the signature at the time of written test and interview or else, the candidature shall be cancelled.

Students who are looking forward to appearing in the September session of the entrance test must make certain that they fulfil the MAT Eligibility Criteria 2025 before doing the registration. The eligibility conditions state that the candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
