MHT CET Registration 2026 (Closed): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The MHT CET Registration 2026 for both groups (PCM & PCB) was closed on 24th February 2026 (without late fee) and on 27th February 2026 (with late fee). The correction portal for the same was available from 5th to 7th March 2026.

All India candidates & the Jammu & Kashmir migrants will have to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 800/- for those belonging to the reserved categories of Maharashtra) as the exam MHT CET 2026. Late fee shall be applicable post the last date of registration. The conducting authority will later open the correction window likely in the 4th Week of March 2026.

From the below-stated table, students will be able to learn about the category-wise MHT CET 2026 registration fees:

*Candidates who want to opt for both the phases have to pay double the above-mentioned examination fees.

* Candidates who want to opt for both the groups (PCM and PCB) have to pay examination fees of Rs.2000/- (For general category) and Rs.1600/- (For reserved category).

* Note: Students must know that registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in any situation.

Before the candidates start the registration / application process, they should ensure that they have met the MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2026 specified by the exam conducting body.

To apply for the MHT CET 2026, students should follow the steps mentioned-below:

Step 1: Visit the exam’s official website i.e., cetcell.mahacet.org”.

Step 2: Press the “Candidate Registration A.Y 2026-27”.

Step 3: Now, click on the “Register” icon reflecting on the desktop screen.

* Already registered candidates can visit the official website of the exam to directly login with the credentials (Email ID and Password).

Step 4: Fill in the required details including Candidate’s Full Name, Email ID, Password, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.

Step 5: After filling in all the mentioned details, click on the “Register” tab for successful registration.

Step 6: Click on the “Verify Email” option. For the verification purposes, an email will be sent to the students on their registered email ID which they need to verify.

Step 7: Post verification, candidates can login with the registered Email ID and Password to start filling in the “User Info” form.

Step 8: Enter all the below-given details in the form:

• Personal Details including Parents Name (Father & Mother), Gender, Religion, Mother Tongue, Nationality, Annual Family Income, & Marital Status, etc.
• Address Details
• Mobile Number
• Other Details (as specified)
• Educational Details

Step 9: Now, press the “Save Changes” tab for the submission of registration form.

Step 10: Afterwards, the registered candidates will be redirected to the Candidates Dashboard and it will consists of the following options:

• Registration
• Edit Profile
• Help Desk
• Hall Ticket

Step 11: By clicking on the “Registration” icon, a window will appear comprising an active exams’ list that is governed by the MHCET.

Step 12: Now, click on the MHT CET exam to fill the application form.

* The details of the MHT CET application form 2026 will be pre-filled as per the information provided during the registration process. Moreover, any additional details asked need to be filled by the candidates.

Step 13: Enter the “Security Pin” and click on the “Save & Proceed” icon.

Step 14: After submitting the MHT CET 2026 application form, an Application Number will be generated; note down the same for future requirements.

Step 15: At last, take a printout of the filled application form of MHT CET exam for future reference.

Students need to have the following documents to fill in the details of the MHT CET registration / application form:

• Class 10^th & 12^th Mark sheet
• Date of Birth Proof
• Address Proof
• Caste Certificate (If applicable)
• Domicile Certificate

The edit facility for the filled application form is provided to the students through the correction window. The Maharashtra State CET Cell will possibly open the MHT CET correction window in 4^th Week of March 2026. Through the edit facility, registered candidates will be able to make changes in the details filled in the application form.

Students need to be extra careful while filling the details in the following sections as these are non-editable:

• Candidate Name
• Date of Birth
• Email ID
• Mobile Number

Special Notes to Consider:

• In any situation, if the students have made any mistakes in the above-mentioned non-editable sections while filling the form, they are required to “Raise a Ticket” on the helpdesk.
• To make changes in the non-editable sections, candidates have to logout from their registration / application page. Afterwards, they need to login again at the home screen and press the “Profile” tab to start editing.
