The registration for the NBSAT 2026 is available only through online mode at the ‘nbsat.nbs.edu.in’. Aspirants should complete the NBSAT Registration 2026 along with the fee payment of Rs. 2000/- + additional charges in order to validate their candidature for the exam.
The curriculum for the NBSAT 2026 is segregated into 6 sections. These sections further comprise the criteria based on which the questions of the test paper will be designed to assess different abilities of the students.

Applicants should know the test pattern for the NBSAT 2026 to avoid making unnecessary mistakes on the actual exam day. Candidates have to appear for the entrance test through online remote proctored test mode wherein 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in English language.
In accordance with the NBSAT Exam Pattern 2026, the question paper will include 6 sections namely, Quant & Data Interpretation, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, Business & Economics Awareness, Communication & Language Proficiency, Creativity & Innovation, and Decision-Making & Ethical Reasoning.
Furthermore, for answering each of the questions correctly, 1 mark will be given to the appearing students. Furthermore, no deduction in marks will be done for incorrect responses.
Referring to the previously asked questions should be included by the candidates in their preparation strategy to improve their overall performance in the NBSAT 2026. The cut-off for the NBSAT 2026 is 50% i.e., students securing 50 out of 100 marks will be considered qualified. Furthermore, the scores obtained by the applicants in the test will be valid only for admission in the 2026-28 batch at the Institute.
Students who qualify the NBSAT 2026 or have secured above the requisite cut-off marks in the CAT / XAT / CMAT / NMAT specified by the Institute will be eligible for appearing in the further selection / admission process. At first, applicants have to take a short assessment called Psychometric Profiling wherein they will be judged on factors like Aptitude, Personality Traits, Creativity, and Ethical Decision Making.
After this, the shortlisted students have to appear for the online one-on-one Personal Interview with NBS Selection Panel. The slot booking details for the same will be communicated to the concerned candidates through email after the declaration of NBSAT result. In the Personal Interview, the Motivation, Clarity of Goals, Communication Skills, Analytical Thinking, and Managerial Aptitude of the students will be assessed.
At last, the final NBSAT Seat Allotment 2026 will be done. The seats will be awarded to the students based on their cumulative merit in certain factors. The weightage of the factors are 50%, 15%, 10%, and 25% for NBSAT / accepted Entrance Test Score, Academic Achievements & Work Experience, Psychometric Profiling, and Personal Interview, respectively.
The selected students will be issued an Offer Letter; the concerned individuals have to then complete the requisite admission formalities including fee payment, documents verification, etc.
