The Symbiosis International (Deemed to be University) will schedule the SET Exam date 2026 expectedly on 5th May 2026 (session 1) and 11th May 2026 (session 2). The SIU Pune (conducting body) will begin with the SET Exam registration 2026 probably in the month of December 2025. In addition, to appear in the exam students can register / apply and pay the registration fee before the tentative last date which is 12th April 2026.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) was formerly known as SET-General. The exam is conducted via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for offering admission to the qualifying students in the Undergraduate Programs. The Entrance Test will be conducted in approximately 80 cities all over India.

The SET Exam 2026 will be held for a period of 60 minutes in English medium. Aspirants can take the SET Exam in both the sessions. However, in this case, the higher score will be considered as the final percentile of the candidates. The score card of the Symbiosis SET Exam will be considered valid only for the academic year 2026-27, respectively.

Aspirants must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria of the SET Exam 2026 before proceeding for the SET Exam 2026 Registration. The conducting body has opened the registration window for the exam and the last day to register as well as pay the registration fee is 12^th April 2026.

Applicants can register themselves online through the official website i.e., “set-test.org”. Students simply need to enter the details asked on the web page and then complete the registration by generating an OTP using a mobile number. After this, candidates will receive an email consisting their SET ID & Password. They can then proceed to fill the Application Form.

At the end, students are required to pay an Entrance Test Registration Fee of Rs. 2250/- per test, if chosen. Additionally, they will be required to pay the Program Registration Fee of Rs. 1000/- per program they wish to apply for.

*It is to be noted that the Symbiosis SET Exam Program Registration Fee is non-transferable & non-refundable. Students can pay the fee via Payment Gateway / Demand Draft.

The syllabus for the SET exam 2026 is designed & released by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) on the official website of the entrance test. Aspirants must follow the syllabus while preparing as it will help them easily understand the exam pattern and achieve good marks in the SET 2026 exam.

There are 4 sections in the SET Exam 2026 Syllabus under which students are required to cover various topics. The sections are:

• Quantitative
• General Awareness
• Analytical & Logical Reasoning

According to the SET Exam 2026 Paper Pattern, there will be 4 sections in the SET Exam 2026 question paper. The sections are General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. It is mandatory for the students to attempt all the sections.

The Symbiosis SET Exam will be conducted for a duration of 60 minutes. There will be a total of 60 questions asked, each carrying 1 mark, making a total of 60 maximum marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The SET Exam 2026 will be conducted in around 27 states & approximately 80 cities all over India. Students can select 3 preferred test centres from the list given below:

* The capacity of the test centres is limited. Students are advised to choose the desired exam centre wisely as no request for changes in these centres will be allowed after registration.

* The test centre is allotted to the candidates based on the date of payment. Those who have paid the Registration Fee earlier are more likely to get the test centre of their choice

Appearing candidates are supposed to follow certain guidelines on the day of SET exam 2026 that is regulated by the conducting body, Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Those who will not follow the below mentioned guidelines / instructions may be disqualified & will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The guidelines are:

• Students should reach the allocated test centre at least 1.5 hours before the exam time & occupy their seats at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the SET 2026 exam.
• Candidates must carry the below-given items to the test hall:
  • Admit Card (Coloured Printout only)
  • Valid Original Photo Identity Proof (Driving License / Passport / Voter ID Card / PAN Card / Aadhaar Card (UID) / College ID Card)
  • Simple Ball Point Pen

* If the student has applied for multiple tests, he / she must carry separate Admit Cards for each entrance test. The Admit Card of the candidates will be authenticated & verified against the identity card by an authorized person on the exam day.

* Soft copies of the identity card will not be accepted.

• Candidates must paste their latest (not more than 4 months old) coloured passport size photograph on the Admit Card which they will bring with them on the exam day. The pasted photograph should be the same as uploaded during registration.
• It is to be noted that the candidates are not allowed to leave the test hall until the exam time gets completed.
• Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and other smart devices & paper are strictly prohibited inside the exam centre. Also, there will be no facility for keeping the personal belongings outside the exam hall.
• Candidates must follow the guidelines given in the examination hall to maintain the decorum. If found to be involved in any misconduct, strict action might be taken against such students.
