SITEEE Exam Pattern 2026: Marking Scheme, Exam Day Requirements & Total Marks

The SITEEE exam pattern 2026 is prescribed by the conducting authority i.e., Symbiosis International Deemed University on the official website i.e., ‘set-test.org’ According to the test pattern, the examination will be conducted online in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities in India.

The students appearing for this test have to attempt 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 120 marks distributed over 3 sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

* In case of unavoidable circumstances, the schedule / structure of the exam can be changed at the discretion of the conducting body.

Note: In order to pass the exam, it is important for the students to follow SITEEE Syllabus 2026 along with the pattern.

In accordance with the SITEEE pattern 2026, the test will comprise 3 sections including Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The following table describes the section-wise details of the entrance exam:

Note: Candidates can appear for both attempts of the exam but the higher score among the two tests would be considered for final percentile calculation.

The SITEEE marking scheme is determined by the Symbiosis International Deemed University (conducting body). Through the marking scheme, the student’s performance is analysed and their marks are calculated. The information for the same is given below as per the SITEEE exam pattern 2026:

• 2 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
• 0 marks are given for an incorrect question.

* Aspirants should be aware of the SITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2026 and need to complete the SITEEE Registration 2026 in order to appear for the test.

Below-mentioned are the facilities available for the Persons with Disabilities appearing for SITEEE test:

• At the time of filling the application, PwD candidates can opt for the scribe / writer facility.
• The students need to arrange their own scribe whose academic qualifications should be maximum 9^th Standard passed or 10^th Class appearing.
• Candidates are required to send a request to [email protected] for scribe / writer facility.
• PwD category candidates are also provided with 20 minutes compensatory time for every 60 minutes of the test.
