Students who appear for the State-level entrance test should know that State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana announced the TG POLYCET result 2026 on the official website i.e., ‘polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in’.
According to the conducting body, the TG POLYCET 2026 result has been declared online on 23rd May 2026 after the successful completion of the examination.

The conducting authority will assign 2 separate ranks to the students on the basis of their TG POLYCET entrance exam result only; these are MPC rank and MBiPC ranks. The MBiPC rank will be calculated by scaling down the marks of Mathematics subject from 60 to 30.
The MPC rank will be applicable for students who wish to secure admission in the Diploma courses in Polytechnics offered at the affiliated Institutions of SBTET. On the other hand, students can get admission in the Diploma programs available at PJTAU, PVNRTVU, and SKLTGHU based on their merit ranks in MBiPC.
* Aspirants should be informed that the aforementioned norms can be amended from time to time as per the Government’s orders.
Note: In case of a tie, requisite norms shall be applicable.
The TG POLYCET result 2026 issued will contain the qualifying status of the applicants. The minimum passing marks required for the TS POLYCET / TG POLYCET exam is 30% of total marks. This implies that students should have obtained at least 36 marks out of 120 in order to be considered as qualified.
For students belonging to SC / ST category, the minimum qualifying marks required to be considered for ranking will be 1.
* For MBiPC, the cut-off is the same given, the Mathematics marks will be scaled down to 30.
The conducting body will announce the TG POLYCET result 2026 within 12-15 days of the test. Students will be able to view and download their rank card from ‘polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in’. All candidates will be assigned both MPC & MBiPC ranks.
