VITMEE Registration 2026 (Ongoing): How to Fill Application Form, Fees, Last Date, Documents

The exam conducting authority i.e., Vellore Institute of Technology has opened the portal for the VITMEE registration 2026 for M.Tech and MCA courses from 21^st November 2025 to 12^th April 2026. Moreover, the window for M.Sc (AI & ML and Data Science) has been started from 1^st December 2025 and the VITMEE registration last date 2026 for the same is 12^th April 2026 and for M.Des, it is from November 2025 to April 2026 (tentative).

Candidates have to apply online for the VITMEE Exam 2026 through the official website i.e. ‘vit.ac.in’ to get admission into the M.Tech, MCA, M.Des, M.Sc (AI&ML and Data Science) programs in all the VIT campuses.

Note: Foreign and NRI / PIO students can also apply for the VITMEE exam, but they need to apply separately.

* Candidates should satisfy the VITMEE Eligibility Criteria 2026 before filling the application.

In order to appear for the VITMEE 2026, the aspiring students are required to pay Rs. 1200/- (for all categories) as an exam application form fee inclusive of GST. Moreover, the VITMEE registration 2026 fee is non-refundable and can be paid through the following modes of payment:

• Net Banking
• UPI
• Credit / Debit Card

Students who wish to take the VITMEE exam need to apply for it through the official website ‘vit.ac.in’. The detailed procedure for completing the VITMEE exam registration 2026 is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the test i.e., ‘vit.ac.in’ and sign-up by filling in the necessary details such as candidate name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email address, mobile number and pincode.

Step 2: Verify the expression, tick the checkboxes and click ‘Register’ to complete signing up.

Note: Students who have already registered for the exam can directly login with their credentials to fill-in the details of the application form.

Step 3: Later on, OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number.

Step 4: After the OTP verification, proceed to login using the email address and password that is received through the registered e-mail ID.

Step 5: Verify the expression and click on the ‘Login’ tab.

Step 6: After this, the students will be directed to the dashboard to fill-in the details of the application form including personal, address for correspondence, details of academic qualifications, campus and program details, GATE appearance, and test centre details.

Step 7: Fill all the details carefully and click on the ‘Save and Next’ button before moving to the next section.

Step 8: After filling the required details, move to the payment section and pay the specified fee.

Step 9: Now, upload the documents in the prescribed format and submit the filled application form.

Step 10: Then, download and save the already filled VITMEE 2026 application form for the future references.

In case, the candidates forget the password or wish to change it after completing the VITMEE registration 2026, they can do so by following these steps:

• Navigate ‘admissions.vit.ac.in’ and select the ‘Login’ tab on the screen.
• Now, select the ‘Forgot Password?’ option.
• Enter the ‘Email-ID’ and ‘Mobile Number’ and verify the expressions.
• Afterwards, click on the ‘Submit’ icon to retrieve the password.

During the application process, students need to upload the scanned images of the documents; the list of the same are as follows:

• Passport Size Photographs
• Candidate’s Signature
• Aadhar Card
• Class 10^th & 12^th Marksheet
• Marksheets of all the Semesters / Year-Wise / Consolidated of the qualifying degree up to pre-final / final year (as applicable).
• Community Certificate (For SC / ST Applicants)
• Nativity Certificate (For Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Northeastern states)
• Provisional Certificate / Degree Certificate (if available)
• Migration / Transfer / College Leaving Certificate (if available)
• Valid GATE Score Card (if available)

Candidates need to keep the below-mentioned points in mind while completing the VITMEE registration 2026:

• Change of E-mail ID or mobile number is not permitted after submitting the application form.
• At the time of transaction, if the application fee is debited, do not make a new application. Try again after 48 hours, if the amount is not debited.
• If any student has submitted the application of VITMEE for the MCA program then they do not apply separately for the M.Sc (AI & ML and Data Science) and vice versa.
