Note: In case candidates have lost the Rank Card and require a duplicate of the same, they may obtain the same from the competent Board before the last date of Counseling / 60 days after the announcement of WBJEE results. The above-mentioned were the norms that the competent authority will follow to break the tie between the candidates having the same merit rank in the GMR & PMR, as applicable. If the tie will still continue to exist then, it will be broken on the basis of the Date of Birth of the students. Under this rule, the older student will be given preference over the younger one.
In case, the tie will still continue then finally, the Application Number of the candidates in ascending order will be taken into consideration. In this, the one who had applied earlier will be given the rank.
