I have taken B.Com with CA. Students who are pursuing CA can join this college. They will provide lot of support for attending coaching or exam. Some colleges don’t provide with proper attendance when their students are participating in other activities. This college totally supports your interests and gives a lot of help for participating in them. The best college to attend when you are pursuing other degree with B.Com or BCA.

Surana evening college is an evening college as mentioned in the name. The college starts at 4 and ends at 8:30. They provide only two courses. B.Com and BCA. You have to finish second PUC and can join this college. They are well trained and there teaching is very good. I have chosen B.Com as I am pursuing CA. CA and B.Com are kind of little similar so it will not be a great task to both of them side by side. It just that I don’t want to risk it all by doing only CA, so I choose B.Com with ca as a safe factor. It is a three-year course and if you want you can do 1 year extra which is honors. Now new syllabus has been established called NEP syllabus. You will have 6 semesters. These semesters will cover a lot of different subjects like accountancy, digital fluency, principal of management, etc. They also have three languages you can choose one. There is Kannada, Hindi, and Sanskrit.

There are different teachers for different subjects. All are very good at their subjects. Normally as this is an evening college, the teachers work at different college at morning and come to this college. Even though they have worked all morning and are tired. There is no day they have given us an excuse and skipped the class. They are dedicated to their work and because this is an evening college they don’t ignore or take it lightly. They teach in a way even the student who is not bright will actually start liking the subjects. They go too much concept and understanding rather than completing portions. Preparation for exams is done with lot of efforts and preparatory is corrected as an exam paper. This boosts the confidence of students. Even though I have not attended daily. I have secured good marks in my exam because of them.

The infrastructure is not huge. It is combined of two colleges. Deeksha and Surana are at the same infrastructure. It is a total of three floors. Each floor has women and men washroom. The basement or ground floor has library and labs, etc. The first floor is operated by Deeksha. The second floor is the degree classes. The third floor is the canteen and a large place to sit, sports room is at the last floor too. They have a lift where it can be used by students to. They are two stairways to go to classrooms. And a small place at the center. There is a spacious auditorium.

There is an assumption that evening colleges don’t have any activity and etc. But this different they keep on conducting programs. They motivate students to take part and stand out their comfort zone. There is a lot of celebration which keeps on being conducted in college. All the festivals and fest are well organised and lot of excitement in it. There may be 2000 students overall.
