NMKRV College for Women B.A Review By Yuktha B

Sharing my experience as a student from Bachelor of Arts in NMKRV college for women. The quality of teaching is excellent. Priority is given for Kannada and English medium students. There are three streams Science, Arts and Commerce. This is college is following the new national education policy and my batch is the first batch to experience this new policy. Initially it was very difficult and chaotic, but this kind of education seems to be helping us in the updated portions rather than outdated. This college is very good in conducting cultural activities like spectrum week, Hindi divas, English day, annual day, etc. This college has a very nice area around which is very peaceful, but it is always under some construction. They will give many opportunities to develop your progress and personality. The campus is huge consisting of canteen, ground, auditorium called Mangala Mantapa, a stationary shop, a basketball ground etc. There is placement training as well as campus interview. There is spacious place for parking of vehicles, and it will be looked after as well. This is a women's college, and the campus is shared by RV PU College, RV legal college, NMKRV PU College as well. Overall, this is a very good college for all those who are seeking for good education and safety.

Academically this college is good. They appreciate and encourage teamwork. They see to good academic marks. They take personal interest in the students who score average in the tests and exams. Teachers are always available in the college until 5, so that they can help students in any way they want.

Every faculty is different in the way they teach. All the faculties in this college are very approachable. These faculties will always help in the matters of students and education. They are not too strict. They will encourage you to take part in all the activities that take place in the college. Some faculty may not be very good in communicating in English language, but they are well experienced and cooperative.

There is placement training in the beginning of fifth semester. They take one month long continuous classes and teach the students from the very scratch and basic. There are all kinds of skill-based training. There are even campus placements as well.

The infrastructure of this college is very basic and minimal. There are some renovations that are being done. Recently the Library was shifted and built completely. There is a very big auditorium which can accommodate and facilitate around 300 students. There is a canteen with all the food that students need. There is parking space for those students who have vehicle and there is a huge ground.

There are not too many fests conducted in this college, but there are cultural activities that are been conducted like annual day, sports day, ethnic day, etc. This college is very good at conducting national conference and seminars. The timings of college consist of many hours and students feel very stressed and hectic in their day-to-day schedule.
