Talking about my overall experience, it was absolutely amazing because you can experience a proper government initiated and coordinated institution which provides quality education and skill development in accordance with your career. I choose this institution because of its overall ranking and uniqueness in case of selecting particular courses. If you really want to try out something new or a unique experience, you will rather choose this institution.

So my course is B.Sc Biochemistry, which falls under the group of life science stream. One third of this course deals with live practical section and a little bit of theory. Entry requirements for this course include 70 percent or above marks in 12th standard and candidate must be a biology science student. There are no entry tests or examinations for this course, students are purely selected based on merit. If you got good grades in 12th standard (90 and above) it’s easy to get a good spot for the admission otherwiseyoushould have a little bit of luck too. So, I chose this course because of its career opportunities and flexible syllabus. Successful graduates can work as a laboratory technologist, research analyst, Quality control departments etc.

Faculty is absolutely top notch compared to other colleges nearby. Tutors are vastly experienced and friendly. Most of them are Ph.D holder's and research specialists who always care about each and every student who came to seek information. Teaching methods are entirely different, which include live PPT sections, seminars, group project works, group research etc. Here students acquire knowledge by themselves instead of spoon feeding. Teaching methods are a vital role for students to gain proper knowledge and to develop their skills, here they can acquire both perfectly without falling into any stress or suffocation.

Most graduate courses do not offer any placements. After completing their course students seek jobs for themselves or choose master's as their next level. To get a Master in biochemistry is a little bit challenging because it offers limited number of seats and candidates are selected according to marks obtained from entrance examination. Graduate Students can seek for entry level jobs like research analyst, laboratory analyst, etc.

Yes, government hostels are provided for student, which offers affordable cost and better utilities. Hostels are properly maintained and can occupy at least 3 students in a room. Students are provided with separate bed, study table, drawers etc. Food is provided which is average and most of the time it is veg. Non vegetarian food is only provided during the weekends. Apart from government hostels, tons of paying guest and private hostel facilities are available nearby. Students can rather choose hostels or PG in accordance their will.

Campus is properly maintained with a modern digital library, extracurricular activity spots, well maintained and updated laboratories etc. Library is one of the best facilities provided for students Which can occupy at least 100 to 150 students in a time. College building is maintained yearly based which is initiated by government officials; students can rather suggest their opinions to improve quality of amenities.

Overall campus life is outstanding. Apart from studies there are a lot of extracurricular activities and fests provided in college. There are separate club initiatives are assigned to maintain fests and cultural programs and students can suggest their ideas without any hesitations. Extracurricular activities include sports, annual fests; cultural activities etc. are conducted every year. Students can rather participate each and every activity apart from their studies. Community programs like NSS, NCC are also available.
