SVB Pharmacy College B.Pharm Review By Boby Kumar

Actually, I did my B.Pharmacy from SVB College of pharmacy Dombivli. I passed recently in 2023; I have done my diploma from Sandip University Nashik. I got very good marks so I decided to do Bachelor's degree from Mumbai Then I applied and got this College overall this College is ok many equipment are there but many equipment are not there like this is old college so equipment are too old they didn't changed teachers are good here but now some of the best teachers just resigned from here, it is the strict college about academics attendance is mandatory here at least 75% then only you got to seat in the exams. Here Lab assistants are supporting they will help in regular lab.

I came here in this college after doing diploma so I got direct second year admission here through government portal by applying from it. Student who are interested in doing pharmacy should take admission after doing 12th from HSC or any board by giving CET examination or the NEET Examination the CET Scores matter more for the ranking after the ranking they also can get admission through offline mode after completion of all CAP rounds. The offline admission is done if the seat is remaining in the college; even this is the Tamil minority college so there are some seats reserved for the Tamil peoples who are interested to doing the pharmacy. The motive for enrollment in this college if you are interested to know how the medicines are made up of how this is processed and how the research work is done in the industry to make new drug it should be a perfect stream to get the knowledge of Medicines and how Body is getting react with the Medicines, Other motives like if the person is interested to open their medical shop then it is the field which you r looking for because after doing this you can get the license for running your own medical shop, other motives if you are really interested to do the job in hospital with a respect them this field helps you to do job in the hospitals.

Faculty members who taught us in this college is various, here you get the best Ph.D teachers also and the fresher’s also who came for training of their starting career. Here there are various departments are there like Pharmacology Department, Pharmacognosy Department, and others department in which there are Various teachers are there with their best degree. Every department has their higher degree teachers and the training teachers also. The teaching methods they apply is various and it differ from each other some teachers give best example to understand the point some will just read the PPTs only, there are teachers who are really fantastic in their work as they will give one of the best industry examples which will work in future. Lab Assistants are the best here they will support us in our every practical so that we can easily understand the practical. Some teachers are very sincere they will give the notes through the mouth explanation but some of the teachers are just giving them by copying from the internet.

Yes, we have a Placement Committee in our college, but it is not affective to the students because they just conduct the seminars regarding the career, but they do not get any company or multinational company in the campus they just tell us where the interview is going on and they just tell us to go there and attend the interview even they don't have any best alumni from this College. They are relying on the others college placement cell, and they ask students to go on that college placement drive. The placement cell is useless in this college.

The infrastructure is good, the classrooms are good not that big, but it is ok. They are having good big Laboratory in the college and enough laboratories in the college. SVB is having its own library inside the campus. They don't have the lift in the college so that especially able person cannot go in the college even they don't have any ladders for the especially able person. The campus is not having the Wi-Fi. They do have a clean toilets and washroom. They are having a gym room having the capacity of 10 people only. They have boys Common Room for boys to rest in that room they also have a separate girl’s common room where they can rest. Previously they were having sports room different but now it is merged in a boy and girls' common room separately for them. They are having a canteen with the capacity of 50 people at a time. The food cost is medium, but the quality is good. They have their own auditorium in the campus with the capacity of 700 people at a time with a centralized ACs in it. They have a computer room in the campus which is quite good for doing research work on internet. They Have a good parking for the motorcycle and the cars.

The Campus life is not too good not too bad. They don't go any industrial visit. Here there are many committees are there in which different positions are there. The fest is done in the month of February where the annual day is there. The different activities are done in the campus in all over the year, but they need permission from the management to do any event and the event is done in the college hour where the lecture is also going on and we have to attend the event also. The campus crowd is good with having every year at least 100 to 120 students which means if we can calculate for overall year, it will be around 480 students from bachelor the Diploma students are different from this. The management is too lazy to do the work for the event.
