Life at GMC Miraj

Overall Rating
My review at college campus is very exciting and wonderful. This college is government aided that's why I chose this course. My dream is to become doctor and heal other that's why I enrolled in this course. I suggest others to go because in this field we get chance to contribute to society as well as serve country. And MBBS is very valuable and reputed degree.
 

Academics Rating
There is only one course provided in our college and that is only MBBS only. For getting admission in this government college, you have to work very hard in 11th and 12th standard. Students need to get minimum 50% marks in board exam as well as secure AIR rank under 1700 in general open category in NEET i.e. approximately 600 marks in NEET exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Our teachers/faculties are highly qualified. They do not compromise in teaching. They always upgrade themselves with new trends. All HODs from each department. I like their teaching scheme very much. They are always open to help students to clear their doubts. They focus more on practical than theory. They also help students regarding their personal problems.
 

Placement Rating
We don't have placement like engineering college, but students can get job in private or government hospitals.
 

Hostel Rating
College has given hostel. It is very secure, and no one can leave or enter without permission of rector. Basic facilities at hostels are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I think overall infrastructure is good, but the buildings and classrooms are too old and traditional. I think they should build new buildings and digital classrooms, so it is very helpful for students to learn digitally. It is just like old buildings built in British era. There are not any internet facilities. But basic facilities are available there.
 

Campus Rating
I am not much aware about fests but recently we celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and 'Garba' dandiya during Navratri. Our campus crowd is very less because scene it is government college the intake is very less. We do not have clubs like engineering colleges. We enjoy functions and other activities during festivals only. There are some other engagement activities such as tree plantation and other social activities conducted by NSS.
