The eligibility if the course is that you should pass 12th standard. However, the college selects students based on various cut off and reservation criteria. There are a large number of seats available for each subject group. Also, after the implementation of NEP (New Education Policy), the course has become highly valued and demanded. Also, Institute of Science being the best college for IT makes the degree even more worth it. Each subject taught here has many demands in the future as well as the NEP will make the students industry ready.

The faculty members at Institute of Science are highly educated and well qualified teachers. Every faculty member has unique achievements in the field of their respective subjects. Many of the faculty members are senior and well experienced teachers who administer the young faculty members. The way of teaching is also very professional. They use physical as well as digital boards in the class.

We have a specific cell for placements of students which is the Career Counseling and Placement Cell or CCPC. However, a very small portion of students directly opt for a job after a bachelor's degree and the rest continue with their master's degree. The CCPC conducts seminars regarding job opportunities for the students. It does not majorly help a large portion of the students to acquire jobs in the industry.

There are various buildings in the college campus. There are separate departments for each subject faculty. The main college building has dozens of classrooms, an auditorium, a quadrangle, as well as many labs with a variety of instruments and equipment. There is a separate canteen just besides the main building. The library is a separate 2 story building with hundreds of books and large seating arrangements. There is a sports department too, which is located in the college sports ground itself. It provides equipment for many indoor and outdoor games.
