I am a B.Com Banking and Insurance pursuing student of Kongunadu Arts and Science College. One of the best environments compared to any other institutions. It is an overlooked college in Coimbatore. It is apt for students who are looking for placement opportunities. If your looking for any college with a peaceful atmosphere, then Kongunadu will be the best option. The fees structure is also comparatively less. And it will be best for students who are selecting aided courses. Not only academics but also the general ethics and values are been thought here. It would be great if students have their education in such a good institution and it fulfils all the needs of the students.

So I opted for B.com Banking and Insurance and the major topics covered under this course are the overall Indian banking system, Insurance related subjects and investment planning, and major accounting subjects. There is no specific eligibility for enrolling in this course. You need to have completed your schooling and being a commerce student or a science student doesn't really matter. If you have interest in this course you can definitely join the department and the department itself is a very pleasant place to be in. One of the major reasons why I enjoy my college life is my department and the faculty members.

There will be minimum 5 faculty in each department which is lead by the head of department and assistant and associate professors. Each one of them are expert in their respective fields. And apart from academics they are also friendly and approachable. The faculty members make sure that the students lives are happy and their motive is to make the students achieve their milestone. They help us in every means and gives us that comfort.

If your looking for placements then this institute will be best for you as many companies have reached out to the college for placement drives. Many companies with pretty good salary packages have come and when comparing to other colleges, the job opportunities provided to the final year students are more. The Placement Cell Officer makes sure that the drives are conducted in a proper and fair manner and the appointment letter reaches the respective student.

Hostel Life plays a major role in college campus. My hometown is Ooty and I eventually stayed at the hostel for 2 years and my experience there was incredible. Being with hostel mates is another level of happiness. The mess food is not that bad and and it is maintained properly with care and cleanliness. If there are any problem regarding the food in mess then we can immediately reach out to the warden and the issues will be cleared. Hostel day will be conducted at the end out the year which is just amazing. We enjoy that day completely and keeps our mind fresh and clear.

The campus of kongunadu college is located at Gn mills and it is near the main road hence students can easily reach the college. There are various blocks for various departments. The canteen is an amazing place to have fun and eat with your friends. There is other facilities like type writing classes, coaching class for government and banking jobs. And several extra courses are introduced here. We can join extra dimploma courses with your main course.

My campus life so far is very satisfying and pleasant. I haven't faced any issues in the college and it has always been smooth for me. Sports activities are conducted on timely basis and there are various clubs like Photography, Eco Club, NSS, NCC, and all the major festivals are celebrated here like Onam, Pongal, etc. Annual day is conducted once in a year. Students who have topped the semester will be awarded and scholarship are provided for eligible candidates. Overall my experience in the college is so far good and I have enjoyed it thoroughly.
