Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women B.Tech Review By Kurma Sri Divya

I chose this college just because my parents insisted on me joining. But after coming here I've felt like there are other plans for me. It's a perfect choice for girls I'd say. The teaching is good, the area is vast if you wonder where to roam when you're bored, relax with the help of nature. Our college is well known for its placements as you may have already heard.

So I'm shortlisted for ECE while applying for counseling through the rank I've scored in AP EAPCET. It's a common engineering entrance exam for admission to colleges in Andhra Pradesh. You can also purchase seats in here which would be a lot of hassle and costly when compared to admission through EAPCET rank. The students with a rank get benefitted with scholarship from government through various policies too.

All of the faculty and lab technicians are B.Tech graduates in either electrical or electronics background and most of the professors are M.Tech graduates. They are well qualified with many core skills and technical knowledge so you won't have to worry about the teaching in here. Their teaching styles are unique and are modified based on the reviews and feedback they take from the students after completion of every semester.

We have an enormous Placement Cell at our institute. It never ceases to amaze me how well they have trained our seniors get to the positions they are at now.

Yes we have many hostel in our college. The hostel life is good anywhere but here especially it's better cause you'll feel more like sisterhood with your classmates and friends from other branches. As it's a women's college it's considered better than some other colleges.

In the Vishnu society, Bhimavaram, we have other colleges that belong to the society around our college. There's Vishnu institute of technology which is co-ed B.Tech college, there's Vishnu Dental College, Vishnu Pharmacy College, Vishnu School, Bvraju Degree College, Smt Seetha Polytechnic College around so there's large area surrounding the college. Some remarkable places inside the college are the lake, the incubation centre, open air auditorium, etc. where most of the events are celebrated, a huge sports ground, badminton, tennis courts, indoor stadium, etc. is there.

If you're in doubt whether to join this College, you can have it but you'll never regret joining here. The architecture of the institute is better than many colleges in this area, it's ambience is amazing and once you get close to your friends or alone you can roam inside the campus for long hours and enjoy the nature. Academics is always good, placements are remarkable, many student clubs, sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged very well. Fests happen very frequently in here so you can take a break from exhausting classwork. Overall, it's not gonna be a bad choice. You'll like it.
