Queen Mary College BBA Review By Meghana Chary

I have joined Queen Mary College which is located in Secunderabad in the year 2018. Ever since I regretted being in that college. They all bluffed during admission. On top of that, they took a lot of fees. Firstly, we were the new batch to DOSTH whereas most of our batch didn't know that we should apply for counseling. At that point, these people took advantage of the situation and misguided us by giving us management seats. Which our classmates got realized later. By that time, we couldn't do a thing. There was no ranking needed yet they bluffed us to buy management seats.

I took BBA as my course, whereas they promised to give us a six sigma certification course. But in the end, it turned out to be a kinder garden course! Literally, they ruined our 3 yrs of life. I was promised to get placements from Google, Tech Manhindra, Tata, and whatnot... They have marketed themselves as if they are the ones ruling this BBA course. But it turned out to be a scam that fooled students along with parents. The faculty should be rating ZERO. Some of them don't even have experience. And I must share, Marketing lecturer was dumb. She used to proofread the textbook and call herself a lecturer. NO internships, no job opportunities, IN the name of placements, they literally called CONSULTANCIES. That's where I thought, I must share this.

Our lecturers thought us nothing the whole year. And speaking of faculty, They are hardly 6 lecturers and they teach both B.Com and BBA. And their overall experience is nil. One of them was new to the teaching field itself. And one of them doesn't even know how to teach. It was a complete regret regarding academics. Well, I must only one among them was teaching the actual content. The rest of them just brush up the dust-covered books.

NO comments about placements. They did not even conduct Placements for my seniors. And when it came to us, they just showed some consultancy, saying he is from Reliance. These people are not running colleges. They are running a business. Do not fall into it. You will get trapped. They are least bothered about your attendance, and of course, why would they want to.

They fixed AC. But never turned them on. In fact, nobody would ask. Actually, there used to be no human attending class, to ask about it. Although they have taken a lot of remuneration, they set us free outside the college. We were allowed to bunk college. And thank god, they set us free. Through some of the students created their own way and some of them got distant to studies. Overall, I would say, infrastructure was according to the environment. I would rate it three. Because the college was new. So we were provided with good infrastructure. Except for the AC part. Everything was well structured.

As per the academics, it's a very bad idea to join. But other curricular activities were included in our college. We used to celebrate every event and fests, farewell and everything was on form. If somebody isn't serious about career-making but is willing to explore yourself outside rather sitting between four walls, I would recommend it for them.
