Average level college for Engineering in Surat

Overall Rating
I chose this college because no other option was available to me. College curriculum is partially according to the industry requirement. Every sports facility is there in the campus and campus is very big and full of greenery. Computer labs are well equipped with Wi-Fi facility, high specs systems and with central AC. Classrooms are bit old fashioned but contains smart projector and blackboard. Library is okay and books are not updated as per curriculum. Events like fests and workshop are organized on timely basis.
 

Academics Rating
Entry requirement is that you should have passed 12th grade with PCM subjects and should have been ranked above the cutoff of the ACPC ranking. Course curriculum is bit old, but some subjects are up to date as per the industry requirement. Projects are given in every semester in practical subjects. My motive to enroll in this program was to gain more and more knowledge in the growing technology.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in the college is friendly and best at their knowledge. Few faculties are Ph.D holder in their fields and some are pursuing Ph.D. While some faculties are NITs and IITs graduates. Their style of teaching is very practical and understandable. They encourage group project-based learning. They also conduct industrial visit to give corporate field.
 

Placement Rating
Placements in the college are very average like around 2-3 LPA. And local companies visit the campus. So, for big MNCs students have to try off-campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of the college is very big and contains around 7-8 departmental buildings, 2 hostels and big canteen. Around 2 cricket ground, 1 volleyball ground and 1 indoor stadium are there, and other sports facility development is in progress. Campus is full of greenery Infrastructure of building is little old but inside it is well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is little dull because of no frequent events and workshop. Crowd is less enthusiastic and more focused in time pass rather than doing something productive. Annual fests and technical fests happen once in a year around April and October respectively. Sports week is also organized once a year. And lastly other events include festival events like Navratri, Holi and so on.

    Campus of CKPCET Surat is sufficient to have good college life. Cricket ground, badminton courts, and turfs are available to just play whenever you need. Teaching experience is good as faculties are nice and excellent in their fields. There is so much silence as it is located outside the city.
