The overall experience of HMR Institute of Technology and Management is one of the guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University affiliated college. They provide 17 undergraduate courses and 3 post-graduation courses. They have 765+ seats. There is a connectivity issue though. It is situated in Hamidpur and the nearest metro station from there is samaypur badli metro station and is 6km away.

They offer various courses like B.Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA etc. In order to get an admission in the college one needs to appear for the JEE mains exam. The eligibility criterion for B.Tech in the college is scoring a minimum of 55% in class 12th in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The overall cutoff for JEE main is around 73000 to 90000 ranks. To get admission one needs to fill IPU form in which there are several rounds of counseling and a last spot round. If in any round one gets this college then they have to pay 40,000rs (as per 2019) to reserve the seat and then will have to go to the college for the further process along with the required documents.

Overall faculty in the campus is quite nice and are well educated and as well as experienced. Even when it comes about the non-teaching faculty of the college, they are also really good. Most of the teachers are more than 10 years experienced. They are really supportive towards the students and motivate them for further studies and placement processes.

Yes, the college has a well-maintained Placement Cell run by the faculty of the college itself. They try their best to get their students placed at as high as possible packages. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and average package here is 4 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS and Wipro come for hiring students from the college.

The infrastructure facilities in the college are okay. They have a ground outside the college which is not under the college and generally students play there. They have library, medical rooms, lab rooms, and lecture rooms in the campus. The overall amenities in the college are nice. They have sports facilities also available including table tennis etc.

The overall campus life of HMR institute of technology and management is good. These memories can be cherished for lifetime. They are highly against ragging and no such events takes place in the campus. They have Christmas celebrations every year. They arrange tech fest every year as well in which students can participate and are also rewarded.
